The Things About Me Transmigrating into a Vampire

An African college student transmigrates into a vampire. He initially wants to live a carefree life but ends up becoming a powerful minister supporting the dragon.

This tells the story of a v...

Seventy-two female knights with a lineage

Andrew looked at Yun Zhe with the eyes of someone who had just been deranged, thinking to himself, "Has this Aruru man gone mad? Taking a little girl as a page." He couldn't help but wonder, "Was I not clear enough, or is this guy doing this on purpose?"

"It's not a good idea for a young lady. Pages have to do a lot of heavy work, and girls probably can't handle it," Andrew gently reminded Yun Zhe.

"I'm willing, I can do any heavy or tiring work," the girl said firmly. She looked up at Yun Zhe, and Yun Zhe then noticed that her pupils were dark green, unlike anyone else here. The girl stared straight at Yun Zhe, her eyes filled with determination and stubbornness.

"This little girl has a strong will to survive," Yun Zhe remarked, impressed by her thoughtfulness. "It must be tough being without parents; no wonder she's still clinging to me even in this situation."

Seeing that Yun Zhe didn't seem to object, Andrew pulled Yun Zhe aside and whispered, "It's very difficult for a female knight to be knighted, and... many things... just think about when this girl grows up to be a teenager, many things will be difficult to handle."

"for example?"

“For example, you might bathe and sleep with your page, you understand?” Andrew frowned, increasingly convinced that Yun Zhe had deliberately chosen a girl.

Yun Zhe scratched his head. It was the first time he'd heard of bathing together as a way to get closer, but it was somewhat imaginable. Just thinking about bathing with a girl made Yun Zhe instinctively shake his head. It was then that Yun Zhe realized he hadn't actually bathed very often since coming to this world.

The little girl gripped Yun Zhe's clothes tightly; she had clearly overheard some of Andrew and Yun Zhe's conversation.

"I do," the girl whispered. But in her heart, she thought she couldn't let this Aruru man lose her, even if it meant sacrificing her body in the future, she had to hold onto this lifeline. Besides, this lifeline didn't seem interested in women at all.

"Abandon?" Yun Zhe was intrigued by the word the little girl had chosen. But he had something more important to clarify. "Well, even if you were willing, I wouldn't agree. But don't worry, from now on, you're my page. Stay by my side and don't think about those other nonsense things," Yun Zhe patted the girl's head and said seriously. Then he sat up and shrugged at Andrew.

Andrew nodded in understanding. He added slightly, "You should recruit servants first, and then tell them to choose a page from among them. This will inspire their loyalty and dedication. Well, I didn't explain it clearly to you."

Yun Zhe nodded awkwardly, but could only regret it in his heart. He could only blame himself for being too hasty, or rather, for being too excited about becoming a knight.

Indeed, Yun Zhe, who had loved fantasy works in his previous life, did have a deep longing for knights. Then Yun Zhe realized that he was indeed too excited and too hasty, because Ellie's reaction was even more intense.

Ellie pulled the girl behind her and then questioned Yun Zhe about his intentions in hiring a girl as a page. Her voice was harsh and aggressive. This was the first time Yun Zhe had ever seen Ellie so angry.

Yun Zhe, taking a deep breath, recounted her experiences of being disliked to Ellie in detail. Ellie remained somewhat skeptical until the little girl's heartfelt words reached her mind, finally calming her down.

This thought was short, roughly meaning, "Wow, it's strange that this Aruru, who's unpopular with children, actually has a woman who likes him." However, the girl quickly expressed deep remorse for her ungrateful thoughts, though since she didn't say it aloud, she only repented a little.

Yun Zhe and Ellie were both amused and exasperated. Yun Zhe thought for a moment and said, "Ellie, you're a knight too, so why don't you make this girl your page? That would solve the problem!"

Yun Zhe's idea was good, but Ellie shook her head awkwardly, "I can't take on pageboys because I'm a female knight."

Yun Zhe was taken aback. He stared at Ellie, trying to read some thoughts from her head that he could understand, such as "because I am a female knight".

Ellie looked at Yun Zhe's confused eyes, a wave of tenderness washing over her. She patted Yun Zhe's shoulder, "Don't think about it. Just take good care of her. Maybe she'll become the first female knight in the Western Continent with a lineage."

Yun Zhe grabbed Ellie's hand, leaving Ellie momentarily confused about his intentions. Yun Zhe pointed to the little girl behind her, "Take her to take a bath. I have a feeling this girl is actually very pretty." He then grinned at Ellie. Yun Zhe already understood that Ellie couldn't take the girl because of her "preference for boys," but he couldn't really change that, so he could only try to gloss over the situation with jokes.

Ellie snorted. "I'm warning you, don't you dare lay a finger on this child, or you'll regret it!" With that, she pulled the little girl away. The little girl looked at Yun Zhe inquiringly, and only after Yun Zhe gestured for her to follow did she turn her head and silently follow.

Yun Zhe found this little girl increasingly interesting.

Along one side of the road stood Yun Zhe's troops, who had already assembled. There were two under-strength hundred-man squads, and one squad of sixty men.

At this moment, the two captains, Gao and Caroline, were looking at Yun Zhe and the little girl beside him with a strange expression.

The young girl had washed up, her long black hair neatly styled into twin ponytails by Ellie, and her face was much fairer, making her look very pretty with her green eyes. She wore an ill-fitting black leather armor, clearly obtained from Alice. Before bringing her here, Yun Zhe had thoughtfully given her a small short sword, which she held in the side of the armor, making her look quite dashing.
