Also known as: The Young Miss's Exclusive Taming Manual.
In the corridors of St. Ying Academy, Yu Jiu Yuan always wore a perfectly fitting innocent smile, like a harmless lily of the vall...
As the wind, carrying the lingering warmth of the graduation season at St. Cherry Academy, sweeps past the Mediterranean-style white colonnades, it brings the salty sea breeze into the detached villas of Santorini, Greece.
Yu Jiuyuan was walking barefoot on the cool marble floor. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows were rows of blue and white buildings, and the Aegean Sea shimmered with a golden luster in the sunlight, much like the occasional glint of all-knowing light in her eyes.
She had just finished showering, her long hair loosely tied back, revealing her slender, fair neck.
She was wearing a loose silk nightgown, the hem of which reached her ankles, outlining her slender curves as she walked, giving her an innocent and languid appearance.
Only deep within those clear eyes lay a cold and selfish undertone.
For her, this two-week graduation trip was both a way to relax after a busy period and a chance to train her loyal companions.
"What are you looking at?"
Rong Shenghan's voice came from behind, with his usual approachable manner, yet hiding a hint of possessiveness that was hard for others to detect.
He walked over and naturally wrapped his arms around Yu Jiuyuan's waist from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder and his warm breath brushing against her ear.
As the student council vice president who transferred here later, and now the person she has given the title of principal, he has always known how to use a gentle appearance to cover up his stubbornness.
"Look at the sea." Yu Jiuyuan's voice was soft and clear, with the dampness of her recent bath. She didn't turn around, but simply raised her hand and placed it on the back of Rong Shenghan's hand, her fingertips gently stroking his knuckles. "The sea here is more beautiful than I imagined."
"I'm glad you like it." Rong Shenghan kissed her earlobe gently. "Xie Zhecheng has already prepared dinner, it's your favorite Mediterranean style."
Yu Jiuyuan chuckled softly and turned to look at him.
Rong Shenghan was dressed in a simple white short-sleeved shirt and khaki shorts. His eyebrows were curved, and he looked harmless and warm. But she knew better than anyone how hard it was to guess what this man was thinking.
But it doesn't matter. No matter how hard it is to guess someone, she has already firmly grasped them in her palm, making them the perfect finishing touch in her strategy manual.
"He's worked hard." She tiptoed and placed a gentle kiss on Rong Shenghan's lips. This was a reward for him informing her of the news, and also a way to appease his possessiveness.
When I went downstairs, the restaurant was already filled with the aroma of food.
Xie Zhecheng was wearing a black shirt with the cuffs rolled up, revealing his well-defined forearms, and was setting out the tableware in an orderly manner.
He was a typical perfectionist, even the angle of the plates was precise to the millimeter. Only when he saw Yu Jiuyuan come down did a trace of barely perceptible gentleness appear in his cold eyes.
As the target he had already conquered, he willingly played the role of guardian, never resisting even knowing he could only be "side-lined".
After all, being able to stay by Yu Jiuyuan's side and do what he could for her was already the ultimate satisfaction for him.
"Dinner is ready." Xie Zhecheng's voice was cool, but it carried a cautious inquiry. "It's all made according to the recipe you gave me before. Try it and see if it suits your taste."
Yu Jiuyuan sat down in the main seat, and Rong Shenghan naturally sat down next to her.
Yuan Xu sat on the other side of the dining table, holding a tablet computer. The screen was still filled with dense biological experimental data. While eating, he would occasionally look up at Yu Jiuyuan with a focused and infatuated gaze.
He was engrossed in biological research and was usually taciturn, but he remembered Yu Jiuyuan's preferences perfectly, even carefully picking out the cilantro she disliked from the salad.
Lin Yanran sat on the far side, still with that arrogant look, her chin slightly raised, but the initial resistance in her eyes was gone.
Having been asked by his father to restrain his temper and living in the villa for almost half a year, he had long since tamed himself under Yu Jiuyuan's "training." Even though he was still somewhat resentful, he would obediently follow her arrangements.
He picked up his knife and fork with elegant movements, but when Yu Jiuyuan couldn't reach the food that was far away, he would subtly push the plate towards her.
The atmosphere at the dinner table was subtle yet exceptionally harmonious.
The men, each with their own temperament, all tacitly centered their attention around Yu Jiuyuan, carefully trying to please her, and none of them dared to overstep their bounds.
Yu Jiuyuan maintained a tacitly acquiescing attitude towards this.
She is a cold-blooded egoist; winning them over is merely a system task for her to complete and to enjoy the feeling of being controlled by someone who is completely desired by them.
How they negotiate and conduct themselves is none of her business. As long as it doesn't affect her plans or challenge her authority, she's happy to enjoy being the center of attention.
"Yuanxu, have you made any new progress in your marine biology research?"
Yu Jiuyuan picked up a piece of grilled fish, looked at Yuan Xu who was looking down at her tablet, and spoke with just the right amount of concern.
Yuan Xu immediately looked up, her eyes lighting up: "Yes! There are several rare plankton species in this sea area. I collected samples and have preliminarily analyzed their gene sequences..."
He began to talk at length about his research, speaking rapidly with excitement in his eyes.
Everyone else listened quietly, and no one interrupted him.
Yu Jiuyuan listened patiently, nodding occasionally in response, with a gentle smile on her face, as if she was genuinely interested in these dry professional knowledge.
Only she knew that what she cared about was never biological research, but rather the light that ignited in Yuan Xu's eyes because of her attention.
This is proof of her successful taming.
Dinner ended in a pleasant atmosphere.
Xie Zhecheng took the initiative to clear the dishes, Lin Yanran went to the terrace to smoke, and Yuan Xu took his tablet back to his room to continue his research.
