Chapter 193 Self-Confession

"The people from the country will arrive early the day after tomorrow. Be prepared to welcome them. Also, I believe that brat is probably already on his way to the underworld. Then the rest will be easy. Second brother, what are your opinions?" The speaker was Elder Yu Xianming.

“My opinion is that the fourth and fifth brothers are still stubborn. We don’t need to worry about the fourth brother; let him be. He can’t cause much trouble anyway. What I’m worried about is the fifth brother. Although he’s still in the hospital, he might have already gotten the news. If things get really bad, I suggest…” Yang Qinghai lowered his voice, but Li Jia still understood what he meant.

"I object! Fifth Brother is our brother after all. I don't agree to killing him. My suggestion is to send him away and let him go back to China to retire. That way, everyone will feel better." The chubby Third Elder, Ma Bin, had a very loud voice and insisted on his opinion.

"Alright then, after we finish receiving the people from China the day after tomorrow, we'll send Lao Wu away immediately. Send him back to his hometown so he can live out his days in peace. The thing now is, is the little girl dead or not? Lao Er, go and talk to that fat pig. If she's not dead, we need to be prepared..." Yu Xianming's voice rang out again. Li Feng lost interest in listening any further. Tomorrow would be the time to find out everything!

Thinking of this, Li Jia turned and left the villa. After leaving the manor, she walked back to the small hotel along the Arno River.

"Hehe, Xiaoyue, remember to make sure everything is ready tomorrow. Those old guys are still plotting how to make the three of us disappear." The first thing he did upon returning to the inn was to gather Xiaolong and Xiaoyue together, and then he smiled and reminded Xiaoyue again.

"Don't worry! It's all ready!" Xiaoyue nodded vigorously, then replied with a hint of annoyance.

“I just heard some news. Uncle Liang is still in the hospital, but they want to send him back to China to live out his remaining years. Shall we go to the hospital to see him? If it’s convenient, could we find him a different place?” Li Jia looked at the two of them, remembering the news she had just heard.

“I agree. That First Elder does have some conscience after all. It’s just a Dragon Dance Party. I wouldn’t even bother taking it if it were given to me.” Xiaoyue’s words made Li Jia shake her head. “You brat, stop being so smug. Change your clothes, we’re going to the hospital. This time it’s not just the First Elder, but also the Second and Third Elders. The Fourth Elder seems to have disappeared, and the Fifth Elder, Uncle Liang, is in the hospital. It’s no exaggeration to say that the Dragon Dance Party is now in the hands of those three elders. If it weren’t for the legally binding will we have, they probably would have already taken over the stage!” Li Jia gently tapped Xiaoyue’s forehead. Then she told her all the information she had found out.

Xiao Long, who was standing nearby, frowned slightly after hearing this. "Even the Third Elder..."

"What are you saying? Let's go!" Xiaoyue ran back to her room and quickly changed into a semi-casual tracksuit. She saw Xiaolong still sitting there, slightly lost in thought, muttering something to himself. So she walked over and called out to him in a clear voice.

"Oh, it's nothing, let's go! Let's go see Uncle Liang!" Xiaolong was startled awake by Xiaoyue's shout, stood up and followed Li Jia out the door. "How strange!" Xiaoyue muttered to herself, then followed the two of them out of the small inn.

At the hospital, Li Jia and his two companions quickly arrived at the floor where Uncle Liang's ward was located. As soon as they stepped out of the elevator, Li Jia saw his two underlings standing outside the door, dozing off against the wall. "Shh!" Li Jia raised his finger to make a shushing gesture, then gestured for the two men to wait for him in the elevator.

Li Jia stepped out of the elevator and quickly walked towards the door of Uncle Liang's ward. Strangely, even with such fast steps, not a single sound was heard, not even the slightest breeze that should have been stirred up by her footsteps.

"Hmm! Uh!" Li Jia suddenly chopped the necks of the two underlings who were dozing off at the door with a series of chopsticks. After a muffled groan, Li Jia helped the two men stand against the wall, then looked back at Xiao Long and Xiao Yue in the elevator. Xiao Yue and Xiao Long then came out and ran a few steps to the door of the ward.

Pushing open the door and entering the ward, Li Jia and her two companions saw Uncle Liang lying on the bed, breathing evenly. Just as they were about to wake him, he suddenly opened his eyes, and pulled out a pistol from under the covers. "Don't move! The Elder was right. If you return to Florence, the first thing you'll probably do is try to kidnap Uncle Liang. Miss, I'm afraid the 500,000 euros on you will be taken by an unknown nobody like me!"

He was wearing a hospital gown on his upper body, but leather shoes and dress pants on his lower body! He jumped off the bed, holding a gun in his hand, and began to boast incessantly about the elder's brilliant strategies and what happened after he won 500,000 euros.

"You're too talkative and too amateurish!" Li Jia's figure exploded into motion the instant the imposter Liang Bo shook his head and sighed, instantly appearing in front of him. He grabbed the man's hand with one hand and exerted force. With a crack, the man's wrist bone was disarmed, and the gun in his hand fell to the ground. Li Jia picked up the gun and disassembled it into pieces in a few quick movements. Then, he said calmly to the imposter Liang Bo, who was about to howl.

As the fake Uncle Liang screamed, Li Jia took down the two IV drip bottles hanging by the bedside, walked to the door, and the moment she stepped out, the two IV drip bottles filled with glucose slammed into the fake Uncle Liang's face like cannonballs. Instantly, a scream comparable to that of a pig being slaughtered broke through the quiet hospital.
