Bi Xie had never been in a proper relationship in her entire life before dying while climbing a mountain with her best friend.
She then made a contract with a gorgeous man who crawled out of ...
"Song Ma," Bi Xie walked over, frowning as he looked at the tightly closed door.
Song Ma was so anxious she was about to cry.
"The young master had just reached the door when his expression suddenly turned grim. He shoved me out, slammed the door shut, and locked himself inside..."
Bi Xie knocked on the door: "Mr. Wei, are you alright?"
No one responded from inside.
Bi Xie asked, "Song Ma, is there a spare key to the house?"
Song Ma nodded in sudden realization and hurried downstairs.
Bi Xie stood outside the door and knocked a few more times, but Wei Zhaoye made no sound.
She squatted down by the door, her face pressed against it, and said, "Mr. Wei, I'm right outside. If you need anything, please call me."
Silence.
Bi Xie was also a little flustered, he had never heard that Wei Zhaoye had a hidden illness!
She pursed her lips, then simply lay down on the ground, using her phone as a light to try and peek through the crack between the door and the floor to see what was happening inside.
The door was too low, and she struggled for a long time but couldn't see Wei Zhaoye.
With a creak, the door suddenly opened from the inside.
Bi Xie was half-dragged and half-carried inside by the tall man.
"Ah," Bi Xie cried out instinctively at the feeling of weightlessness, his hands encircling the man's neck. The trembling and warm breath lingered in the man's ear, with a slight tickle, like a feather gently brushing against the man's heart.
Wei Zhaoye's cold, dormant heart seemed to be violently tugged at at this moment.
The girl's unique fragrance, subtle and elegant, filled his nostrils.
The room was dimly lit, and despite the heating being on, Bi Xie felt an excessive coldness from the man. Her legs were spread apart, and the man had wrapped his arms around her waist, a position that made her face burn.
"Mr. Wei, please let me go?" Bi Xie shook him.
Wei Zhaoye suddenly groaned, his gaze becoming deep and somber.
Bi Xie seemed to realize something and immediately stopped moving.
Holy crap! This is what you call liking men? Who the hell is a man who gets horny from just being touched these days?
"Qin Xiaoxie," the man's icy breath brushed against Bi Xie's face, making her shiver.
Bi Xie gave a confused "hmm," not understanding why Wei Zhaoye suddenly called her name.
"Have I seen you somewhere before?" The man suddenly buried his head in Bi Xie's neck, sniffing her scent like a puppy. His cool breath brushed against Bi Xie's ear, creating a clash of ice and fire against her burning face.
Bi Xie felt a chill run down his spine: "I don't know."
She paused, then added, "I worked as a cleaner at Mr. Wei's company, so Mr. Wei may have met me before."
"You're short of money, huh?" The man's low, husky voice was like deadly poison.
He kept rubbing against her neck, giving Bi Xie goosebumps all over. The icy temperature was so similar to that person's.
That spot was also that person's favorite spot.
Bi Xie instinctively sensed danger and pushed Wei Zhaoye's head with his hand. "Mr. Wei, please put me down before you talk. This is not right."
"What's wrong?"
Bi Xie exclaimed in disbelief, "What's wrong? Nothing's right!"
Did Wei Zhaoye take the wrong medicine today?!
How did they suddenly become like this?
“You’re a man, and I’m a woman, this… is very dangerous,” Bi Xie said, blushing.
"You think I'm dangerous?" The slender fingers suddenly lifted Bi Xie's chin, his gaze slowly focusing on her cherry-pink lips. He stared at them for a long time, and just as Bi Xie subconsciously tried to turn her head away, the man swiftly pinned her against the wall.
