The Villain's Persona Collapses After Falling in Love

Bi Xie had never been in a proper relationship in her entire life before dying while climbing a mountain with her best friend.

She then made a contract with a gorgeous man who crawled out of ...

Chapter Twenty-Seven: Xie Xie, are you afraid of me?

Bi Xie glanced at the black coffin, then chuckled softly after looking away, "Tell me, if Zang knew you seduced me into leaving the bedchamber, how would he punish you?"

"If you don't want to go, then forget it! Never mind." A flash of fear crossed Remilia's eyes as she began clearing the plates from the table.

Bi Xie pointed to a plate of mushroom soup on the table and said, "Don't serve mushroom soup anymore. Zang doesn't like the taste."

Remilia paused, her fingertips twitching as she demanded, "Did you feed your master human food?"

Bi Xie rolled his eyes: "Is it any of your business?"

"You, you lowly human...you won't get away with this!" Remilia stormed off, and Bi Xie rolled his eyes at her retreating figure.

She didn't let Zang eat human food, but... she drank the mushroom soup, and he smelled it as their lips and teeth lingered. Then... she saw that many small red bumps had appeared on his body. Because his skin was fair, the red bumps were particularly noticeable.

Although Bi Xie did not leave the palace with Remilia that day, Remilia's words still aroused her curiosity. A few days later, Bi Xie seized the opportunity to ask Mayas about the cat she had kept before the burial.

Mayas's silver pupils flickered a few times, and under Bi Xie's persuasion, she still led Bi Xie to the place she was curious about.

It was a dark room. As soon as Bi Xie stepped inside, a chill ran down his spine. He felt that the room was eerily quiet.

"Meyas, what's in here? I can't see anything."

"I forgot you're human, please wait a moment," Mayas said, and the surroundings suddenly lit up.

Bi Xie finally saw the scene inside the room clearly.

She remained motionless, frozen in fear like a stone statue.

Can you imagine a room filled with dead cats? All the cats have been drained of their blood and nailed to the wall, row upon row, with all sorts of furs, and countless cat eyes staring straight at you.

A million curses ran through Bi Xie's mind. He had thought this progenitor of vampires was perverted, but he never imagined it had become this perverted! What if one day she got tired of it? Would she end up like these cats, drained of her blood, made into a specimen, hung on the wall, and locked in this dark and eerie house?

Countless thoughts flashed through Bi Xie's mind in an instant; words like "chills down her spine" and "scalp tingling" were insufficient to describe her feelings at that moment.

If it weren't for her strong mental fortitude, she would have been scared to death by the sight of the walls covered in cat corpses.

"Ghost Cultivator Severing Illness Wine, you damn bastard!" Bi Xie cried inwardly. Is it too late for her to break the contract and become an ordinary, simple, and adorable wild ghost in the mass grave?

"Xiexie, you're too playful. I told you to stay by the coffin and wait for me to wake up. You promised me, but you ran off. I've been looking for you for so long..."

The sexy, deep tone sounded more like a death knell at this moment.

Bi Xie froze, her legs nearly giving way in fear. Her shoulders slumped, and she seemed to shrink three inches. She slowly turned to look at the handsome man standing outside the door, and when she saw those blood-red eyes—

His knees buckled, and he knelt down.

Zang's bloodshot eyes narrowed, a flash of bloodlust appearing in his gloomy gaze. His voice was unreadable, "Xie Xie, are you afraid? Are you afraid of me?"

Mayas sensed the malevolent aura emanating from Zang's body. Her instinctive fear of the progenitor prevented her from pleading for Bi Xie. She could only pray in her heart that her master's methods would be lenient and that Bi Xie would be left with a complete corpse.
