The girl in front of me, with her smiling, gentle eyes, is actually a beastman with a wild nature.

In any era, the interests of the collective always come first.

Su Tang just listened; she was too busy taking care of herself to have any pity for others.

Wolf Nini then brought up the incident where Wolf Man and Wolf Cloud fought after the two of them went down the mountain last time.

"I heard that Langman and Langyun were also punished, and now they go to dig sweet potatoes with the males every day."

Sweet potato was the name Su Tang gave to Lang Kui when she last visited him. Later, the Gray Wolf tribe began to call the fruit dug out of the ground "sweet potato."

Lin Xia prepared a large pot of honey water and invited everyone to drink it.

"Nini, Langzhuang, you two should stay for dinner today. Thank you both for your help today."

Lang Nini glanced at Lang Zhuang. Although there was only one person's distance between them, it seemed as if there was an insurmountable chasm between them.

"No need, thank you, Auntie. I'll take the cubs back in a bit."

She took the honey water, but quickly refused to accept it.

"Wolf Strong, where are you going? I still need to discuss tomorrow's hunting trip with you. Let's eat here." Su Jianyuan put his arm around Wolf Strong's neck and pulled him back.

"But what? Not eating means you're not giving me face!"

Su Jianyuan winked at Su Tang, who then gave him a thumbs up.

Wolf Nini lowered her head, and seeing this, put down the ceramic bowl and said:

"A-Tang, I'm taking the cubs back first."

Before Su Tang could speak, Lang Nini had already gone out, calling her wolf cubs who were playing, and fled in panic.

The wolf cubs breathed a sigh of relief and ran happily towards the gray wolf tribe.

The kitten tried to chase after it, but only caught a flurry of wolf fur.

"It's alright, Mom. I'll bring it to Nini next time," Su Tang said to Lin Xia, guessing that Nini didn't want to stay with Lang Zhuang.

Lin Xia was about to ask something when Su Jianyuan interrupted her thoughts with a shout.

"Mom! What are we having for dinner? I'm starving after moving all day."

"All you ever think about is eating. Look at everyone else, always complaining about being hungry," Lin Xia said irritably, before immediately turning around and going to the kitchen to cook.

The kitchen was meticulously designed by Su Shiwei, with windows for ventilation and a chimney for smoke extraction. The stove and walls inside were also reinforced with a layer of mud and stones to prevent ignition.

The only downside is that there are no lights, which makes it inconvenient at night.

However, all of them have good eyesight, so even at night they won't be completely blind and unable to see anything.

Lin Xia controlled the time spent making dinner, so there wasn't a big problem.

Su Tang was about to go help when she suddenly heard a "clattering" sound coming from outside the yard.

Su Jianyuan's expression changed.

His trap has been triggered!

The family exchanged glances, but before they could do anything, they heard the cries of a cub coming from outside.

"Aww!!"

Su Tang was shocked; the cub was still outside!

She quickly ran out of the courtyard.

A pack of ugly, ferocious-looking hyenas surrounded the yard. These hyenas were enormous, twice the size of an adult lion, and their eyes gleamed with a dark light; they were clearly not ordinary wild beasts.

You can smell the rotten, fishy stench emanating from the hyenas from afar.

The lead hyena, carrying a kitten in its mouth, gleamed with greedy and evil light in its murky, filthy eyes when it saw Su Tang emerge.

The other hyenas also stared at Su Tang with gleaming eyes, as if they were looking at a lamb to the slaughter.

"Look at that fair and tender face, it must feel so soft to the touch..."

A pack of hyenas burst into laughter, their hideous, beast-like faces contorted in a cacophony of snarls.

Su Tang frowned. She couldn't understand what these suddenly appearing orcs were saying, but she felt an extremely uncomfortable sense of disgust.

The four kittens bristled at the same time, stood in front of Su Tang, and hissed fiercely at the hyena beastman.

Its fluffy tail was hanging low on the ground, swaying restlessly.
