She was so tired that she didn't have the strength to get up.

He simply rolled over and lay down in the grass, gazing at the full moon overhead, his chest heaving violently, his heart pounding as if it were about to burst out of his chest.

Suddenly, the tranquil forest was filled with the sounds of insects chirping, and then with the heavy breathing of birds.

They escaped.

From the hands of Lion King and his two companions, and also from the wolf pack.

However, they are about to face even more unknown dangers.

After an unknown amount of time, the moon finally emerged completely from the clouds overhead.

The chirping of insects around us seemed to have subsided a bit; perhaps they were tired and needed to rest.

"A-Tang, what should we do now..." Mao Jiu sat up from the ground and asked weakly.

"We need to find a safe place to spend the night." Su Tang patted the cubs' heads, making them stand up.

Seeing this, Mao Jiu quickly stood up and rubbed his legs, which felt a little weak.

"But where in the forest is there a safe place..." she muttered softly.

Su Tang glanced at her, but didn't say anything more. She just led the baby straight ahead.

At the very least, we can't let them be exposed to danger like this.

Cat Nine's legs were so weak she had no strength left, but when she turned her head and looked around, it was pitch black, and the strangely shaped tree branches looked like demons baring their fangs at them.

She was so frightened that she trembled and quickly followed after him.

The trees in the forest are all very tall, like skyscrapers, but that doesn't stop the wild grass on the ground from growing wildly.

The road was almost completely blocked by various wild grasses and shrubs. When they were running, they were lucky that the little ones cleared the way, otherwise these wild grasses alone would have made things difficult for them.

The grass in the forest is as sharp as a knife.

After walking for a while, the two came to a place with a relatively open view, and Su Tang stopped.

If they had stayed where they were, they wouldn't have noticed if they had been spotted by wild animals.

Mao Jiu felt that she had been taking her blessings for granted before. If she could go back alive, she would cherish everything she had now and never think about those other things again.

"Can you climb trees?" Su Tang's voice suddenly came from beside me.

"I saw them put the stones next to the fire when I was running away, so I just grabbed them..."

She had seen Shida use this stone to start a fire. When she left, Shida didn't have time to pay attention to her and just took it on a whim.

"A-Tang, can we start a fire with this?" Mao Jiu asked.

"I'll give it a try. You find something easy to light around here." Su Tang had also seen Shida start a fire.

Upon hearing this, the five kittens also joined Cat Nine in collecting withered branches and fallen leaves nearby, which they then brought back to burn.

After much effort, a string of flames finally rose in the darkness.

The night in the forest was chilly, and Mao Jiu was shivering from the cold. He carefully huddled in front of the fire, stretching out his hands to warm himself.

Su Tang baked for quite a while before she felt warm.

My cotton clothes were soaked through when I ran away, and when the wind blew after I got cold, it was really chilling to the bone.

The cubs weren't sweating and had thick fur, so they didn't feel cold.

They seemed to enjoy circling the fire, wagging their tails.

Su Tang pulled Er Bao and San Bao's tails apart and threatened, "Be careful not to burn your tails, or we'll have roasted cat meat today."

Upon hearing this, Erbao and Sanbao immediately retracted their tails and wrapped them around their paws.

"Good boy, go to sleep, little ones. Mommy will take you home as soon as it's light tomorrow." Su Tang said to the other children, seeing that Si Bao had closed his eyes and seemed to be tired.

Upon hearing this, the babies obediently lay down beside her.
