The Years I Worked Hard to Get Into Jail

Silver Ring is a famously lazy snake who wants to get into a zoo to live an easy life and retire.

In order to enjoy a life of leisure in the future, she employs all sorts of skills to battle ...

Chapter 122 The venue collapses

The beam of light vanished in an instant, and the air seemed to freeze.

Inside the hall, a sudden hissing sound of electricity arose, and the magnificent chandelier on the ceiling seemed to be disturbed by some kind of magnetic field, flickering violently.

The exit gate, the thing blocking everyone's way, gradually changed and moved, looking to the naked eye like a pool of flowing mercury.

It seemed to come alive, wildly roaming the thick concrete walls. In an instant, it completely covered the entire stadium.

The stadium was completely isolated, as if it had been hidden in some kind of barrier, forming an alternate dimension.

"What is this?" Silver Ring asked in astonishment.

Ahui's eyes widened: "No, I don't know. Auntie, what do we do now?"

His mind was now clear. Although Ahui was not a cultivator, his eyes could see through to the true nature of things. He could clearly see this strange change.

“Call Huo Fei.” Yin Huan dared not be careless.

With a furrowed brow, he quickly fumbled for his phone.

This change was beyond her comprehension.

Although she's usually stubborn and refuses to admit she's useless, she knows best what she's really capable of.

Having lived as a snake for three hundred years, aside from capturing a little fox, all her troubles had been handled by those around her. Facing something like this alone, Silver Ring truly had no confidence.

However, they're not too stupid; they know to call for help.

The call was made, but a cold voice message indicated that the service area was not available.

"Out of service area." Yin Huan's expression turned completely cold. Putting her phone back in her pocket, she frowned and looked at the old woman next to her, asking, "Hey, do you know what happened here?"

"You must be exorcists," the old woman said dejectedly. "We can't get out."

"Never mind whether I can get out or not, hurry up and tell me, why are you all gathered here?" Yin Huan said impatiently. "I don't think you're a wandering soul or a vengeful ghost. You should be a ghost from the underworld. Why aren't you staying in the underworld? What are you doing causing trouble in the mortal world?"

The fact that this ghostly old woman could save her son proves that she is of sound mind and not the kind of ghost who has lost her senses; she has the capacity to communicate. Furthermore, she is aware of what is about to happen in the venue.

The old woman remained silent, staring blankly at the silver ring.

Seeing that she had finally stopped talking, Yin Huan threatened, "Speak up now, or I'll send you back to the underworld. You're not a wandering soul; you've been staying in the mortal realm without a certificate from a celestial master. You'll definitely be punished when you return to the underworld."

Yin Huan was spouting nonsense with her eyes wide open, and she did it all with an air of seriousness. Even Ah Hui, who knew her background, was completely taken aback by her.

When will the fairy obtain the Celestial Master certificate?

Silver Ring stated that fairies won't open it, but exorcists will.

This is what Huo Fei told her.

Silver Ring had a stern face, and to be fair, she had a commanding presence. She didn't have any demonic aura, and she had just swatted away the beam of light that attacked the old woman with her bare hands. Temporarily disguising herself as a demon slayer was a piece of cake for her.

The old ghost said in a sinister tone, "I would like you to send me back to the underworld, but unfortunately, the ghosts here don't leave."

Silver Ring: "What happened?"

"I don't know what happened either." The old woman said, "The day before yesterday was my birthday. My son and daughter-in-law invited me back to celebrate my birthday. Halfway through the celebration, I was dragged here."

At this point, a look of fear crossed the ghostly old woman's pale face. She grinned and began to wail, "I know, I'm doomed. I'll definitely disappear inexplicably like Ah Hua."

"Shut up, stop crying. Explain yourself, what exactly happened?" Silver Ring's head was throbbing from the piercing wailing. She snapped and added, "Do you know who dragged you here? And why didn't you leave?"

"Some strange thing is up to no good." The old ghost cried out twice before telling Silver Ring the reason why the ghosts had appeared in the stadium.

The ghost aunt's son works in the development zone. Three days ago, on her birthday, she reported to the underworld officials and returned to the mortal world to celebrate. Unexpectedly, while eating the offerings, a sudden suction force attacked her. She was just an ordinary ghost and had no power to resist. And so, she was instantly drawn into this stadium.

When she arrived, she found that a large number of ghosts had gathered here, and she even saw her own relatives among the wandering spirits.

She inquired with relatives and learned that wandering spirits and vengeful ghosts from within a ten-mile radius of the development zone had all been brought here. The inexplicable change of location left everyone feeling uneasy. They had considered escaping, but found themselves unable to leave.

A group of ghosts encountered a ghost wall, a phenomenon unique to ghosts. No matter which way they went, they would eventually return to the venue.

These past few days, a performance has been held here. People from the mortal world have been coming and going in the venue, and many ghosts have tried to possess them and leave this place, but they still can't get out.

Not only are they unable to get out, but for the past two days, they've all gone into a collective daze at 10:10:10 PM every night, only recovering when the rooster crows.

The ghost aunt is different from wandering spirits. Wandering spirits are souls who died unjustly and could not be reincarnated. They do not live in the underworld and are unaware of many things, including the major cases that have recently occurred in the underworld.

She had been in the underworld for over a decade, and on her first night of dementia, she sensed something was wrong.

The second night, she focused her energy, trying to resist the thing lurking in the shadows, but to no avail. Around ten o'clock, she would still lose consciousness. However, last night she was on guard; in her hazy state, she saw a woman in red Hanfu suddenly appear above the stadium.

The woman was terrifying; her eyes were bloodshot, and she wore a sinister smile.
