Chapter 124 Demonic Path, Buddha, and Tripartite Cooperation

It was a bitterly cold winter night, with a fierce north wind blowing. The sports plaza was dark and silent.

At the entrance of the stadium, Song Tianshan frowned, anxiously pacing back and forth with a compass in his hand. He would occasionally look up at the dark entrance and then look down at the compass.

The ancient compass needle spun rapidly, sometimes east, sometimes west, without any sign of stopping.

Song Tianshan held his breath, his heart burning with worry.

He put away the compass, bit his index finger, quickly drew a talisman in the air, and slapped it towards the dark entrance.

A faint light flashed, the air at the entrance distorted, and then returned to calm.

"Taoist Master, what exactly is going on?" A man in a down jacket asked, rubbing his hands and trembling.

This man was none other than the old woman's son.

He was pushed out of the stadium by his own mother, still dazed, when suddenly the brightly lit stadium hall plunged into darkness. The four security guards at the entrance thought it was a power outage and tried to go in to check the circuit. But they found that no matter which way they went, they were bounced back by an invisible force.

The four were terrified. When they came to their senses and were about to call the police, a strange man suddenly flew in from the darkness.

It was truly flying; they watched in disbelief as the newcomer, like a swallow, soared through the air along the utility poles, descending from the sky.

The group stared in disbelief, and before they could even ask any questions, they saw the newcomer raise a wooden sword and slash at the air.

In modern society, although the slogan is to believe in science, what's happening before our eyes is unscientific. Anyone who grew up in China has heard a ghost story or two; seeing this scene, these ordinary people immediately knew they had encountered a ghost.

The group felt a chill run down their spines. They wanted to leave, but dared not. It was pitch black, and who knew what would happen if they left? This man was clearly a Taoist priest; staying with him would ensure their safety.

Song Tianshan turned his head to look at the man and asked, "How did you get out of there?"

While checking the situation, he asked a few questions and learned that the man who spoke had walked out of the stadium a second before the incident.

The man choked on his words: "I don't know either. I was watching the show, and then I found myself at the entrance. But when I came out, something pushed me."

Upon hearing this, Song Tianshan stared at the man in the down jacket for a while, and in a short time, he figured out the truth.

He remarked with emotion: "A mother's heart."

Song Tian: "Call the police and say that the stadium has collapsed and people are buried inside. Leave quickly after making the call. Also, don't make a fuss about what happened tonight."

After saying that, Song Tianshan pulled out his phone and dialed the Special Security Bureau. This was a tricky matter; he had to report it and get reinforcements sent immediately.

The stadium's formation was extremely complex and carried a massive amount of demonic energy. He wasn't a member of the formation school and had little knowledge of formations; although he noticed something amiss, he was completely baffled.

The call was connected, and He Bingjun answered it.

Upon hearing that a demon had appeared in Penang and even interfered with the concert, He Bingjun's heart tightened, and he immediately pulled out Huo Fei's phone and dialed it.

Penang is Huo Fei's territory. Distant water can't quench a nearby fire, and regardless of any grudges between the Security Bureau and Huo Fei, lives are at stake, so his first thought was to rescue Huo Fei.

The phone rang just as Huo Fei arrived at the stadium.

Huo Fei didn't waste any words with He Bingjun on the other end of the phone, only saying, "I'm at the gymnasium, there are monsters around," before hanging up.

“Protector Huo…” When Song Tianshan saw Huo Fei, he felt a sense of relief on his shoulders, as if he had found his pillar of support.

Huo Fei nodded to Song Tianshan: "What happened?"

He recognized Song Tianshan; he was the disciple of the Grand Elder of the Qing Sect. In the entire cultivation world, there weren't many people Huo Fei could remember, and the Grand Elder of the Qing Sect was one of those rare individuals. This was because he was considered one of the more impartial members of the demon-slaying team, and not particularly hostile towards the demon race.

"I don't know. The stadium was already sealed off when I arrived." Song Tianshan frowned and said cautiously, "Someone has set up a formation here. I can't tell what kind of formation it is, but it was set up with demonic energy."

Upon hearing this, Huo Fei stared at the great formation ahead, flicked his finger, and cast a demonic spell onto it. The great formation flashed with a ghostly light, instantly engulfing Huo Fei's demonic spell.

Upon seeing this, Huo Fei's expression turned fierce.

After a moment, he asked, "Is there a way to break the formation?"

He was a demon and not very proficient in formations. The formation before him was unfamiliar; he had never seen it before.

Song Tianshan: "If we can't break it, perhaps the Taoist priests of the Formation Sect have a solution."

"Step back."

No sooner had Song Tianshan finished speaking than Huo Fei let out a soft shout, his dark eyes turning cold and sharp, and his aura suddenly surged. He raised his arms, preparing to forcefully break the formation.

No matter how complex a formation is, as long as one's own power is strong enough, it can be forcibly broken through...

However, this method should only be used as a last resort. This is because formations are often unpredictable and incredibly complex. One careless move could trigger a formation's mechanisms, amplifying its destructive potential.

Forcibly breaking through the formation would have unpredictable consequences. But Huo Fei couldn't care less about that right now.

The monsters are ferocious, and the people inside may have already been persecuted. Rather than waiting for someone to break the formation, it would be better to destroy the formation and rescue them directly.

Saving as many as we can is better than letting them all fall into the clutches of evil. Besides... there's a silver ring inside.

The silver ring must never fall into the hands of monsters.

"Grandmaster, let this old monk give it a try."

Just as Huo Fei was preparing to violently break the formation, Yuan Chi and his two junior brothers arrived. As soon as he finished speaking, a sacred Buddhist staff suddenly descended from the sky.

The Buddhist staff, imbued with boundless Buddhist power, suddenly crashed to the ground and stood firmly before the great formation.
