As dusk settles, the city lights begin to twinkle.

Grey Fox declined Zhou Dehai's dinner invitation, removed her makeup, and left the film crew with Silver Ring. As soon as they left the set, they encountered White Hair waiting by the roadside.

White Hair's expression was solemn, his dark eyes deep, as if he were deep in thought. Seeing the two approaching, he composed himself, smiled slightly, and strode forward to meet them.

White Hair: "How was your day on set?"

Yin Huan, with her arched eyebrows, said, "I watched the filming all afternoon."

White Hair: "Are we going again tomorrow?"

Silver Ring: "Go, why wouldn't we go?"

Actually, filming is quite interesting. Although some things initially surprised her, she found it very interesting once she got used to it.

White Fur nodded and hummed in agreement, then turned his head and solemnly instructed Gray Fox: "When you're filming, keep a close eye on Silver Ring, and don't let her out of your sight."

Upon hearing this, Gray Fox asked, "Did something happen to you too?"

"What, is there a problem with your crew too?" Bai Mao paused, his expression suddenly changing.

Gray Fox's expression was solemn: "The wire fell, and Qi Longtian fell from above."

White Hair's face changed drastically: "Is he dead or not?"

"He's not dead. Silver Ring saved him." Gray Fox: "What happened on your end?"

The white-haired man with sword-like eyebrows said coldly, "During the Qionglin Banquet, a plaque fell from the roof and hit the actor playing the Prime Minister."

He paused, then added, "He wasn't so lucky; the plaque hit him on the head, and he died on the spot."

After exchanging messages, both White Fur and Gray Fox frowned, their expressions solemn.

Yin Huan was slightly surprised, her small face immediately hardening: "Is someone dead?"

White Hair nodded.

Yin Huan: "This is a big deal. Should we inform Huo Fei?"

"No need, I've already contacted the demon hunters in Hengdian, they'll handle it." White Hair: "Silver Ring, things haven't been quiet lately, stay close to Gray Fox and don't wander off. It's best to bring Black Bear with you when you go out."

Of the group of several demons, Hei Xiong was the most powerful and best suited to protect Yin Huan.

The whole country is in turmoil. Since before the Lunar New Year, murders have been rampant across the land. At first glance, the victims all seem to have died in a seemingly reasonable manner. But they know the truth: it is the result of the demons extracting souls from the nation.

The spirits of the dead in the mortal realm were transferred to the underworld. Without spirits, the demons' attempt to resurrect their prince was utterly futile. Having exhausted all other options, they turned their attention to the living.

They expanded their operations and dispersed to different areas, which forced the exorcists to run around and deal with them. After more than two months of stalemate, they ended up feeling somewhat helpless.

After all, there aren't many demon hunters, so they can't possibly defend against them all.

Silver Ring nodded: "Yes, I understand. By the way, did you catch that murderous demon?"

"No." Bai Mao shook his head: "When filming started, I didn't even sense any demonic energy. If I hadn't gone up to check after the dead bodies, I probably wouldn't have known that this was the work of a demon."

Silver Ring: "It was the same on our side. I only discovered the demonic energy after the steel wire broke."

White Hair: "Let's go back first. We'll go out and cause some trouble tonight. Maybe we can catch them by the skin of our teeth."

Silver Ring and Gray Fox: "I'll go with you."

White Hair: "Let's meet up with Black Xiong and the others first."

After discussing it, Sanyou lost interest in continuing to shop. He turned around and prepared to meet up with Hei Xiong.

The three demons, known as the Black Bear Demons, began their operation in the afternoon, searching the area around Hengdian in an attempt to find traces of the demon. However, after searching for most of the day, they couldn't even find a shadow of it. Instead, they discovered demonic energy during an accident at the Yuanmingyuan Scenic Area in Hengdian.

Also that afternoon, several tourists playing in the scenic area accidentally fell into the water. Thanks to timely rescue efforts, only one of the five who fell in drowned. It was there that they discovered the demonic energy, realizing the incident was not accidental but deliberate.

This served as a stark warning to Hei Xiong and his two companions.

Yin Huan and her two companions met up with Hei Xiong and his group in Hengdian's night market area and exchanged information. After having dinner at a restaurant, they silently returned to their rented room.

The moonlight was as dark as ink; it was already late at night.

Hengdian World Studios is filled with colorful lights, resembling a city that never sleeps. Pedestrians shuttle under the streetlights, and many actors who are filming at night take advantage of the short breaks in the crew to run to the streets to order takeout or have a late-night snack.

Yin Huan and the others rested at home for a few hours, and when the yin energy was at its strongest at midnight, they all stepped out of the room.

After discussing it, the group concluded that the incidents that occurred during the day were the work of the demons at night. Although demons are not afraid of sunlight, they prefer to be active at night. Therefore, nighttime is the best time to expose them.

The six men left the rented house and immediately split into five groups, sneaking into various parts of Hengdian to begin a thorough search.

The demons all disagreed with Silver Ring acting alone, but Silver Ring couldn't resist their stubbornness and finally compromised, setting off with Black Bear.

Hengdian is a basin, nestled between mountains and water, covering a vast area. For the six members of the Silver Ring to try and find a few demons hiding somewhere in such a large place is like finding a needle in a haystack.

Demons are cunning; they know that the appearance of a powerful demon will alert all those with supernatural abilities. Therefore, the demons they send into the human world are all low-level demons. These low-level demons have very weak demonic energy, making them extremely difficult to find.

Even a group of monsters with sensitive noses cannot smell their scent unless they are close enough.

Silver Ring and Black Bear walked around the downtown area for a while, but found nothing.

"Damn it, these demons are hiding really well. Could they have hidden in rat holes? How come I can't find a single one?" Silver Ring kicked a stone on the ground, her patience waning.
