TFP world setting.
Under the apocalypse, resources are depleted. The “former” savage met the scientist. Shockwave began his chaotic life, but it doesn’t matter; no one can stop his scie...
Crossing IDW
The steel fork of IDW was personally brought back from the hotspot by Shockwave.
Both Orion Pax, Orion's close friend from his time at the Paranormal Academy and as a member of the Shockwave Council, had seen the Fork—another Fork. Through the other Fork's account and various instrument tests, they finally understood that the other Fork had traveled from another universe.
Let's call the other fork the TFP fork for now. That day, a loud "bang" suddenly came from the sky. The superpowered trainees and Officer Orion, who were training, looked up alertly. The TFP fork suddenly appeared and fell towards Senator Shockwave's head. Fortunately, Orion, who was next to him, reacted quickly and pushed Shockwave away, catching the TFP fork in his arms. This prevented the flying disaster from causing the fragile senator to become dizzy and disoriented, or even more serious damage to his body.
"Who is she?" Shockwave asked first out of curiosity, and Orion had the same question.
"Did you see that spacetime vortex? Whether you saw it or not, I saw it! Maybe she's a time traveler?" The theorist braked quickly and leaned closer to say.
"I'm sorry I couldn't get her airborne in time, it was too sudden!" the charger said.
"I'm here, I'm on my way. Councilor, are you alright?" the God of Death asked as he approached.
The first traverse of space not only depleted the TFP Steel Fork's energy reserves, but the accompanying spacetime tremors also left her dizzy and disoriented. Was it one factor, or both? The TFP Steel Fork was completely exhausted, so she couldn't take off immediately. She lay in Orion's arms for a while, finally regaining her senses and understanding of her surroundings. Looking at the completely unfamiliar machines around her, she asked, "Who are you?"
With the brake servo resting on his chin and the other servo supporting his legs, he bent over to carefully observe the newcomer: "I was just about to ask you! Who are you? You suddenly popped out of a spacetime vortex, that's cool!"
“My name is Steel Fork.” Amidst a sea of probing gazes, Steel Fork patted her breastplate—below was the Fire Seed pod. She confirmed that aside from a low energy level, she was otherwise fine. She asked, bewildered, “Where am I? Why are you all looking at me? And this guy next to me… have you been holding me the whole time?”
Finally realizing that she was being held by Orion, Steel Fork stood up on her own with the former's gentle support. The reason I say gently is because she had regained her strength and did not need help, but Orion was still a little worried and protected her until she stood up straight.
Both parties were very friendly during their first meeting. A little bit of wariness, a lot of curiosity, and goodwill towards strangers made the conversation go smoothly.
"This is the Advanced Technical Institute. As the principal, Shockwave welcomes you." Shockwave smiled. He had a vague feeling that the other party's spark had a very special relationship with his own. This was an intuition from the spark.
"Shockwave!?" Steel Fork was surprised at first, then circled the senator to observe him carefully.
"I know I'm a celebrity, there's no need to be so surprised," Shockwave said modestly, waving his hand.
“It’s not because you’re a celebrity.” After refuting this, Steel Fork continued, noticing the slightly disappointed look on the senator’s face, “I also know a Shockwave, but he doesn’t look anything like you! I think you two should be two different people, but… why are your spark frequencies the same?”
Brake said, "Cybertron is very large, so it's not surprising to have one or two people with the same name. But how come everyone's spark frequency is different?"
Orion began to perform his duties as a police officer: "Miss, you may have accidentally entered some kind of teleportation device or time vortex. Please tell me where you are from so that I can better assist you."
"Thank you. If I remember correctly... it's Earth." Steel Fork looked around, then asked curiously, "Is this an academy?"
"Yes."
She had never even seen the academy before! If you exclude the ruins.
"What planet is this? Are you... uh, I mean, are you Cybertronians who have settled here?"
Her wording was a bit strange. Orion continued, "Do you remember what happened before you were teleported here?"
"I remember I opened a land bridge... and then two more land bridges appeared next to me at the same time, and the space I was in became very unstable. I felt terrible, and then I ended up here."
"You're a superhuman? Is your ability to build land bridges?"
“Yes. But the land bridge is only one part of my ability. My superpower can really do a lot of things. To sum it up: spatial manipulation.” Steel Fork answered happily. After all, when you realize that others don’t have that ability but you do, you can’t help but feel secretly proud and complacent.
Senator Shockwave said seriously, "Then you should stay at the Advanced Technical Institute, which is specifically for protecting people with superpowers. Remember, don't show that you are a person with superpowers in public."
"Why?" Steel Fork asked, puzzled.
The God of Death said, "This society does not welcome people with superpowers. Those functionalists hate us, and we will be persecuted outside."
"Functionalists? Persecution?" Steel Fork was completely baffled.
"Please, you're a superhuman too. Don't act like you're completely out of touch with society."
Orion's expression suddenly turned serious: "Your name is Steel Fork, but I can't find any information about you. There are several people named Steel Fork, but their appearance is completely different from yours. Is Steel Fork your real name? Who exactly are you?"
Steel Fork was even more confused: "I've always been called by this name. I've been called this since I came out of the incubation chamber."
Senator Shockwave confidently stated, "An unrecorded Cybertronian? But don't worry, you can live a good life here."
"Wait, wait." Orion's head throbbed with pain. He rubbed his head and said, "I still have a lot of questions."
Brake interrupted: "Let me share my perspective: A blacksmith momentarily neglected Steel Fork. After she was shaped, the blacksmith was called away, and Steel Fork took the opportunity to run outside, leaving the blacksmith unable to find it. Then, an accident caused by a supernatural ability transported her to this world, right?"
"No, what is a blacksmith?"
Don't you know what a blacksmith is?
Orion interrupted them, asking, "You asked me earlier which planet this was, and I said it was Cybertron."
“Cybertron?!” Grimfork looked around again and said, “But in my memory, Cybertron is a wasteland!”
A bold idea formed in Brake's mind; do you remember he was a theorist?
"Perhaps the parallel universe theory isn't just a hypothesis..."
"Parallel universe?" Steel Fork was inspired. Looking at the red and blue color scheme of the attributes in front of her, she thought of a leader and asked, "You look a lot like someone I know. What's your name?"
"Orion."
"The one I know, his name used to be Orion!"
"And what about me?" asked the brakes, charger, and jinx in turn.
Steel Fork shook his head and said, "I really have no impression of you. If it really is a parallel universe, I shouldn't know you in my universe."
Why is Cybertron a wasteland?
"Because of the war, it's in my data package."
"Your data package contains... You were born after the war? But why is Cybertron still a wasteland after the war?"
"No. I didn't experience the war on Cybertron. I came out of the incubation chamber after almost all the Cybertronians had fled Cybertron. When I came out, everything was in ruins."
"Really? Can I see some information about your universe? Historical data, please."
The steel fork had no reason to refuse. But...
"My energy level is extremely low right now, give me an energy cube!"
This is how TFP Steel Fork met with the IDW councilor and his entourage.
From then on, TFP Steel Fork found refuge at the Higher Technical Institute, where it trained its supernatural abilities and searched for its way home.
...
“I know you’re eager to go home, but there’s no need to rush. Shakewave, the senator, pushed open the door with concern. Steel Fork was calculating the coordinates needed to traverse the universe.”
"I... can't figure it out." Steel Fork looked at the jumbled formulas he had written on the data board, his wings drooping helplessly as he covered his head sculpture.
“Don’t rush.” Senator Shockwave approached the steel fork, the server resting on her shoulder armor, a wink appearing on her visor: “I know a little about this, maybe I can think of a solution?”
"Really?" Steel Fork turned to look at Senator Shockwave's confident expression, excitedly hugged him tightly, then let go, and said, "I can't locate my universe. I might be able to open a spatial tunnel, but I don't know what's on the other side of the tunnel."
Senator Shockwave gently placed his hand on the breastplate of the steel fork and said, "There are still some things you haven't finished saying, such as the shockwave of another universe. Otherwise, how can you explain the high affinity between your spark and me?"
“We have a spark link,” Steel Fork said, sounding a little disappointed. “We should be spark partners.”
"should?"
Steel Fork said dejectedly, "I'm not sure if he really sees me as a spark mate."
“That shouldn’t be the case,” Senator Shockwave comforted. “If it were me from another world, I don’t think I would refuse such a lovely lady.”
"But... I forced him, and in the end he just accepted the truth. No matter what, it was his fault..." Steel Fork said indignantly.
The second half of the sentence revealed an even more explosive message than the first half. Senator Shockwave skipped over the first half and asked seriously, "It sounds like his personality is very different from mine. Does he have no emotions?"
"He's like he has no feelings!"
"What does he look like? Does he have a face? Does he have a server?"
“His head sculpt is a red camera that looks like a big light bulb, and he has a server and a hand cannon…” Steel Fork’s words were interrupted.
"Did he endure the five tortures and shadow puppetry?"
"What are the Five Punishments and shadow puppetry? He seems to have been born that way." Steel Fork was completely baffled.
"That's good." The senator breathed a sigh of relief. "Since your spark link is still there, why not try tracing it back to its source?"
The senator pointed to the scribbles on the data panel and asked, "Does using superpowers require calculating so many equations?"
Steel Fork suddenly realized: "You're right!"
She then smiled sheepishly at the data panel.
"It seems I don't need to calculate equations when I use my special abilities..."
The senator tapped the head sculpture of the steel fork, and amidst the latter's shy and happy chuckle, said, "You've really been in the room for too long; your processor is all messed up. I'll take you out for a walk. You haven't really explored the city properly yet, have you? Just the two of us; I trust you can protect me."
"You're completely different from him! I truly love you!"
"Haha, of course. Who wouldn't love me?" the senator said dismissively.
I watched MtMte these past couple of days, it was really good, and it helped me get out of the TFP pit for a while.
