I stood there watching the show and teased, "Didn't someone say that Tuanzi is shy?"
"Woman, don't push your luck!"
He immediately gave me a threatening look. Since I've figured out his personality, my fear of him has lessened somewhat.
He leaned closer and asked with a mysterious look, "So this is really for my dumpling?"
"no!"
He coldly uttered a single sentence and then turned his back on me. Watching his departing white figure, I felt a warm feeling in my heart.
"Sixth Brother, shall we go hunting?" Ye Xuanling called out.
"I am busy!"
Ye Lisheng was still standing by the window tonight, lost in thought.
He seems to really enjoy standing there these past few days, and sometimes he can stand there for half a day at a time.
He mustered his courage and looked in that direction, only to see a light blue figure making dumplings.
Even the most dense person would know what had happened; their jaw would nearly drop to the floor in shock.
"Sixth Brother's spring has arrived!"
That night in the study, Ye Xuanling saw Ye Lisheng looking worried for the first time.
What would you do if you made someone angry?
Ye Xuanling almost spat out the tea in her mouth from fright.
Why is Sixth Brother asking this?
"Just tell the truth!"
He thought for a moment and said, "That depends on who that person is."
"What if it's a girl?" Ye Lisheng asked, a blush creeping across her fair cheeks.
Ye Xuanling immediately sensed some huge news and leaned closer, asking with a gossipy expression.
"Sixth Brother, which girl are you trying to please?"
Ye Lisheng raised his head, his sharp eyes concealing murderous intent, which made Ye Xuanling swallow hard.
He continued, "If it's a girl, it's much easier. You can try to please her according to her preferences."
What do you mean?
"To put it bluntly, it's about giving gifts!"
Unfortunately, Ye Lisheng was a block of ice and couldn't say sweet words to make people happy.
Ye Xuanling watched anxiously from the side, wondering what she should do.
After thinking it over, he walked towards the okra with a mischievous grin.
The dumpling was taking a nap, basking in the warm sun on the wall.
Suddenly, his nose twitched, as if he had smelled some fragrance.
Then, following the fragrance, it wagged its tail and went to...
A moment later, anxious voices rang out from Mingyu Pavilion.
"Dumplings!"
"Dumplings!"
After searching the entire corner without finding Tuanzi, I sat down under the tree, feeling somewhat dejected.
"What's wrong?" Ye Xuanling's voice rang out with a hint of concern.
I tilted my head and asked, "Did you see my dumpling on your way here?"
He thought for a moment and then exclaimed in surprise, "I see! It seems to have gone to the Jade Bamboo Pavilion!"
"Thanks! I'll go get Tuanzi and bring her back!"
After saying that, he walked towards the Jade Bamboo Pavilion.
Ye Xuanling gave me a mischievous smile and followed me discreetly.
The Jade Bamboo Pavilion boasts a beautiful environment, filled with greenery and flowers.
I can't help but exclaim, "The ancients really knew how to enjoy life!"
The water was flowing continuously, and I wondered if Tuanzi might be there.
Upon entering, I was enveloped in smoke; only after regaining my senses did I realize that I was in a public bathhouse.
I was shocked to find a shirtless person in the middle of the bathhouse.
Just as I was about to leave quietly, the man spoke.
"Why are you moving so slowly!"
"Oh my god! It's Ye Lisheng!"
While pondering what to do, he added, "Hand me the towel!"
I glanced at where the towel was and walked towards him.
I held my breath, afraid to even breathe, lest he discover me.
He had wheat-colored skin and broad arms, but I was startled to discover crisscrossing scars on his back.
Perhaps sensing something was wrong, Ye Lisheng immediately became alert, turning his back to me and asking, "Who are you?" His tone was terrifyingly cold.
Before I could even react, accompanied by a scream, he threw me into the water, and I swallowed several mouthfuls of water.
With a splash, I tumbled to my feet and waved to him repeatedly, "It's me!"
My clothes were already soaked through, barely concealing my presence. Ye Lisheng stood there with his arms crossed, watching me with amusement.
"I didn't realize you liked this kind of game!"
He left me completely confused, but looking at his mocking expression, I immediately realized what he was talking about.
Subconsciously, I covered my chest with my hands.
"Ye Lisheng, you're a pervert!"
He looked completely innocent: "You barged in here yourself, how can you blame me!"
"you……"
Thinking about it carefully, what he said makes sense. They've struggled to the edge, and are finally almost at the top.
He dragged me into the water again, and I was so angry I was trembling: "Ye Lisheng, what are you doing!"
"What do you take this place for? You think you can come and go as you please?"
"So what do you want?"
"Scrub my back!"
Looking at the towel he handed me, I really wanted to take it and throw it in his face.
But after thinking about it, I decided it was best to obediently listen; after all, when you're under someone's roof, you have to bow your head.
His eyes were slightly closed, as if he were enjoying it all. Looking at the scars on his back, I moved very carefully, afraid of hurting him.
As if he had read my thoughts, he said in a deep, magnetic voice, "Those wounds have long since healed!"
The implication was that the injury had healed, and there was no need to worry about hurting the king, as he could apply more pressure.
I paused for a few seconds, then continued wiping carefully, probably because I felt bad about it!
"Were these injuries sustained on the battlefield?"
"Um!"
"I heard you went to the battlefield when you were very young. Were you scared?"
I wanted to slap myself as soon as I said it. What a pig-brain! I didn't even need to think; of course I'd be scared at such a young age.
Ye Lisheng paused, glancing out of the corner of her eye at the branches extending into the window, seemingly lost in thought.
