Lin Si finally crammed his way to a medical doctorate, but before he could enjoy even one day of a good life, he transmigrated to a magic world, becoming a vampire. The young vampire came from a wealthy family, had just come of age, and was preparing to bid farewell to his parents and head to Douglas Magic Academy to begin his medical studies.
Lin Si: "...So I still have to study medicine in this life, huh?"
On the day of enrollment, Lin Si received textbooks almost as tall as himself, wanting to see what he would have to learn. Then he saw something both familiar and green. Upon closer inspection, it was 'Advanced Mathematics'. Lin Si: "!" 'Help!'
After some time studying, Lin Si discovered that although advanced mathematics still existed, the medicine of this world was vastly different from that of his original world. In this magic world, healing primarily relied on spells and talismans. When a patient would recover depended entirely on when the spell or talisman took effect, and the effective time for both was a metaphysical issue. In a sense, doctors were merely a branch of mages, and not even very skilled ones. Moreover, since the spells learned did not include offensive spells, doctors generally had very low combat power, appearing quite squishy in battle.
Lin Si felt this wouldn't do. The limitations on doctors were too many, affecting his future employment. So, during one simulated training session, Lin Si calmly took out his scalpel-magic wand and traditional Chinese medicine talisman bag, under the confused and horrified gazes of his classmates. "Perhaps, have you heard of integrating Chinese and Western medicine?"
This is a sweet short story about a tired 'cramming king' vampire uke and a 'sliced' angel god seme. It's a sweet story with a non-typical Western fantasy background.
