In one swift transmigration, she found herself as the cruel and malicious wife of the book's ruthless villain. Less than a month into their marriage, she had already cuckolded her villainous hu...
In a famous international entertainment building, a slender figure was climbing suspended in mid-air between two buildings. As dusk deepened and the crowds were vast, no one would notice this figure.
"Damn, this building is so tall. I'm exhausted."
As she climbed dozens of meters in the air, Mei complained as she tried to blend into a grand feast on this floor.
Inside the building was a lavish, gilded banquet, gathering most of the upper class. Outside, Mei struggled to climb using special climbing gear—wall-adhesive gloves—while wearing a rope and braving the strong winds to find the best spot. After half an hour, she finally found the area near the restroom on this floor.
Mei jumped to the ground, feeling a little relieved. "Perfect landing, time to get to work."
This is her final mission. If she can obtain the banquet's treasure—the Qishe Bracelet, a hereditary artifact passed down for millennia—she can retire successfully.
There was a woman putting on makeup in the restroom. Mei approached from behind, and with a forceful slap of the back of her hand, she directly targeted the woman's pressure point, knocking her unconscious. She then dragged the woman to a stall, locked the toilet, put on the woman's clothes, and swapped her own clothes onto her, easily completing the disguise.
"Tsk, the clothes are too revealing, but I'll have to make do." Mei thought with a hint of disgust.
Mei took the woman's phone and started applying makeup, her look exactly like the woman's. She figured the woman wouldn't wake up for at least three or four hours, and confidently walked out.
"Just stay put, baby. Someone will come to rescue you when you wake up." Mei locked the entire bathroom door from the inside.
According to her intelligence, Mei's target today was quite unusual, but the bracelet's protective measures weren't very strong. It seemed like a trap, but she didn't pay attention to that. No matter what, she was confident she wouldn't fall into it. She was determined to get this snake-shaped bracelet worth two billion.
Mei was initially reluctant to take on the mission. The organization told her that if she accepted it, she could leave and live the life she wanted. She no longer wanted to live such a dangerous life; she wanted to go to a quiet place and live a life of her own.
Mei looked around the hall, ready to hunt. She needed to find the location of the Serpent Bracelet. After searching for a while, Mei finally spotted the bracelet in the center of the banquet.
The bracelet sat in the center, as if its owner were flaunting its value. The target had been found, and now Mei would use her sex appeal as a cover to approach her target discreetly. She couldn't waste this dress, could she? This long dress was a sexy, backless red slit gown, completely exposing her beautiful figure. Her legs were slender and long, and the slit on the side of the skirt went all the way up to her thighs.
With a cat-like gait, Mei swayed and twisted, a seductive smile playing on her lips, instantly attracting the lustful gazes of a group of men. Mei's eyes, like those of a vixen, swept over the group of men, intently choosing a seemingly foolish man to use as a pawn. Her alluring charm captivated their attention.
Like a snake spirit reincarnated, she was extremely alluring. Her sexy emerald eyes were as bewitching as a snake demon. The beauty mark at the corner of her eye was charming. She was a combination of beauty and sexiness, yet she was the most terrifying existence in the organization, ranking first on the assassin list.
Mei could kill instantly, but her mission today wasn't to kill. All she needed to do was obtain this bracelet. The closer Mei got to the bracelet, the more she felt a mysterious force calling to her, something beckoning her to come closer.
Mei's body seemed to be being controlled and bewitched. She quickly covered her head and pinched her temples, trying to calm herself down. Finally, she saw the protected bracelet.
The bracelet really did look like a snake. The more she looked at it, the more eerie and unsettling it seemed. The snake's head on the bracelet looked like it was moving and staring at her. Mei suddenly felt a chill run down her spine.
She knew the call came from the bracelet. Could this bracelet have some connection to her? She immediately became cautious; this bracelet held some secret.
Mei gradually approached the bracelet. She casually picked a man who looked alright and leaned against him, placing her hand on his neck. Her fingernails were a little long. Mei gently scratched the back of the man's neck to seduce him, and the man looked at her with increasing infatuation.
“Honey, what’s your name? I’ve been in high society for years, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen you before.”
With a charming smile, she said, "Have I never seen such a handsome and charming man as you? Would you like to dance?"
Come here, baby.
She danced perfunctorily with the man, gracefully stepping to the slow, retro music. She seemed to be obsessed with dancing, her high heels scraping and stomping on the floor. She subtly led the man closer to the bracelet.
Completely oblivious, the man stared at her, infatuated, wanting to get closer to the beautiful snake and savor her sensuality. He couldn't resist extending his disgusting lips to kiss her. She subtly avoided him; she was getting closer and closer to the bracelet, a surge of excitement washing over her.
She hadn't expected to complete the task so easily today. She glanced at it several times out of the corner of her eye and noticed that the protection around the bracelet didn't seem that strong. There was an electric grid and a special tempered glass cover on the outside, and it was placed in a transparent box.
None of this posed a problem for Mei. Her operation hadn't been exposed this time; if it had, she would have been under much tighter guard. Four bodyguards patrolled the four corners around the bracelet. Mei stood a little too close, and the bodyguards gestured for them to move away.
