Lu Yan had remembered a couple of days earlier that today was Chen's birthday, but he didn't dare go to Jiang Qinyu's house to confirm.

Yesterday he went to the county town and used the little silver he had left to buy a silver bracelet. He carefully hid it in his pocket and kept it there all night.

"Dad, Grandma wants us to come over! Is something wrong today?" Lu Tianbao asked curiously.

Lu Yancai nodded, "Today is your grandmother's birthday."

He couldn't remember how old Ms. Chen was this year, he only remembered that today was her birthday.

Ma's eyes lit up and her face lit up with a smile. "You two hurry up, oh wait, let's skip this and go to your parents' house for lunch today!"

Since she had specially invited them to dinner, and it was also Chen's birthday, the food at her elder brother's house would definitely be delicious. She was determined to eat her fill!

When they arrived at Jiang Qinyu's house, Lu Yan awkwardly approached Chen Shi and gave her the silver bracelet he had bought the day before.

Chen immediately put it on her wrist and spoke to Lu Yancai in a friendly manner for a while before telling him to go find Lu Yanzheng.

“Your eldest brother is in the yard next door, why don’t you go over there too?” Chen thought to herself with a sigh, thinking that her second son seemed to have finally come to his senses and made progress.

When Lu Yancai saw that neither she nor Jiang Qinyu had given him a cold shoulder, his heart warmed up. After thanking them, he left with Lu Tianbao.

Nobody likes to stay in a smelly environment. Just as she was about to turn around and leave, she heard a weak female voice calling her.

"Second Sister-in-law Lu, is that you?"
