Transmigrated to a Famine Year: I Madly Hoard Supplies

Spring planting and autumn harvest, daily life. There are no imperial relatives. The space is used for hoarding items and storing things.

Xu Han woke up to find herself transmigrated to an al...

Chapter 8 The Courtyard

He gives off a strong sense of security. He's practically every type of person Xu Han admires. It seems like living with someone like him for the rest of my life wouldn't be so bad!

Although Lu Chuan is a bit quiet, I've found him to be a very nice person after spending time with him!

He's emotionally stable and has good execution skills! He's also been quite accommodating to Xu Han's requests...

Turning around, I arrived at the backyard, and there it was! A large open space with a small stone path in the middle, dividing the huge backyard in two.

At the very back is a dilapidated chicken coop, which probably hasn't been used in a long time.

The house occupies about two acres of land. The front yard is not very big, but the back yard is very large.

Xu Han learned from her previous conversation with Lu Chuan that when building the house, all the flat open spaces around it were fenced off. After all, living deep in the mountains, it would be a huge loss if the vegetables and fruits they grew were damaged by animals.

When building the house, this was taken into account, so the yard wall was made a bit larger. This makes it easier to grow vegetables for daily consumption.

But now it seems that most of the vegetable garden is abandoned! Seeing this, Xu Han felt a pang of heartache…

What a wonderful place! It's such a waste to leave it like this! I must make good use of it and grow lots of vegetables and fruits to prepare for the lean years to come.

After wandering around for a while, Xu Han discovered a drainage ditch along the wall... Tsk tsk tsk, Xu Han couldn't help but click her tongue in amazement; this was practically her dream love room. The more she looked at it, the more she liked it.

I really don't know how much it cost to build such a big house in the mountains?

The only downside is... well... there's no well!

Carrying water for this kind of vegetable would be exhausting! I'll have to figure out a good way to solve the water problem!
