When Lin Yinan opened her eyes, she had become a fifteen-year-old girl in ancient times. Before she could even react, she encountered a barbarian invasion and a massacre.
Her mother was strug...
Yun Mo returned to the backyard, where Lin Yinan was surrounded by the Yun Junpeng brothers and the Luo brothers. The group chatted and laughed as they sat on the veranda, basking in the sun.
"What are you saying, making you so happy?"
Yun Junpeng raised his little head and said, "Third Uncle, Third Aunt is telling us the story of Peppa Pig."
Lin Yinan looked up at him, her eyes clear and bright. "Weren't you going to the Fan residence? Why are you back already?"
Her question sounded like the usual concern of a husband returning from a trip, his anger that had been building up at the Fan residence dissipating in an instant. He replied softly, "Well, there's nothing to talk about."
Are you going out again today?
"Yes, my brother-in-law said that most of the things needed can be delivered today."
Yun Junhong tugged at Lin Yinan's sleeve and said in a childish voice, "Third Aunt, I want to go with you."
"Hong'er, your third uncle and aunt have gone out on errands. You stay home with your mother and behave yourself." The eldest sister-in-law pulled four-year-old Yun Fangyi out of the house.
Lin Yinan stroked his soft hair, "How about your third aunt brings you something delicious?"
"Really?" Yun Junhong's eyes sparkled.
“Let’s pinky swear.” Lin Yinan extended her little finger.
A bodyguard rushed in from outside, "Master, Master Luo has important news to report."
Yun Mo summoned Yun Ye, and together with Lin Yinan, they listened to the news brought back by the secret guards in the room. Luo Shouxin had arranged to meet someone at a granary to transport grain in the evening.
“Isn’t this the same granary as Fan Xueli’s? What a coincidence!” Yun Ye handed the granary address to Yun Mo.
Yun Mo was also puzzled, "Would the Fan family sell grain?"
"I've heard that Nanzhou Prefecture has been plagued by Japanese pirates for the past two years, resulting in reduced grain production. Grain merchants from other places haven't been able to transport a single grain from the south. Could it be a trap?" Yunye asked.
After thinking for a moment, Lin Yinan said, "Then why don't we turn the tables on them?"
After sharing his thoughts with the two brothers, they both agreed that it was highly feasible.
Yunye made the decision, "Then both sides will act simultaneously. Third brother, you take your wife to the granary, and Yun Er and I will be responsible for killing Fan Xueli."
Yun Mo summoned Yun Er and several other secret guards to discuss today's action plan.
Finally, Lin Yinan took out his bow and crossbow, and then took out a ball wrapped in paper.
"This medicine is very effective, so be careful when you use it. The arrows are made of special materials, so if you can, remember to retrieve them all."
Yun Er smiled brightly, full of confidence, "Third Madam, rest assured, today we will make sure Fan Xueli doesn't see the sun tomorrow."
After agreeing on their plans, Lin Yinan and Yun Mo went out.
The two strolled around the streets for a while, and soon shook off the tail behind them. Lin Yinan bought a set of loose-fitting men's clothes at a fabric store and headed straight for the warehouse rented by Luo Shouxin.
He put the warehouse goods into his spatial storage, found a fake muscle suit inside, put it on, then put on the men's clothing he had bought, painted his fair skin on his face and hands black and yellow, and put on a fake mustache.
When she walked out, Yun Mo and the guards almost didn't recognize Lin Yinan as the middle-aged, greasy man with rough skin, an obese body, and a big belly.
Yun Mo circled around her a few times, then reached out and poked her on the shoulder and back.
"What's inside? It's soft."
Lin Yinan slapped his hand away, "Fake muscle suit."
Yun Mo and the guard exchanged a glance, neither of them understanding what she was saying.
Ignoring the two of them, Lin Yinan walked to the table and sat down, eating the snacks Yun Mo had bought for her on the way.
She wasn't a glutton, but these things seemed addictive; she couldn't stop eating them. Apart from the happy times she spent in school, she had never eaten snacks in her past life.
Before noon, two more batches of medicinal herbs and grain seeds were delivered to the warehouse.
Luo Shouxin arrived in a hurry as evening approached.
"Third brother, who is this?" Luo Shouxin didn't recognize Lin Yinan, who was sitting in a chair with her eyes closed, as she was resting.
Lin Yinan opened her eyes, a faint smile on her face, "Brother-in-law, it's me."
"Anan!"
Luo Shouxin looked at Yun Mo in surprise. How could a beautiful pregnant woman dress up as a greasy old man?
At this moment, the guards brought five carriages and parked them in the courtyard. These carriages were specially made by the Yun family, and each one had a hidden compartment filled with weapons.
Lin Yinan stood up and stretched. "Let's go, brother-in-law. I'm the big boss behind this grain trader."
Yun Mo put his arm around Luo Shouxin's shoulder and carefully explained the details that he and Lin Yinan had discussed beforehand.
The carriage traveled for nearly an hour before arriving at the granary where the Fan family lived, just as the sun was setting.
The Fan family granary occupies a large area and is located in a remote place in the city of Nanzhou, far from densely populated areas. A high wall surrounds the granary, isolating it from the outside streets, making it impossible to see inside from the outside.
There are guards at the main gate, and guards patrol the streets outside from time to time, so the security is very tight.
"Who goes there? What brings you here?" The carriage was stopped by the gatekeeper.
Luo Shouxin quickly jumped off the carriage, took out the grain collection voucher bearing the Fan family's seal from his sleeve, and respectfully presented it to the guard, saying with a smile, "Sir, I am a grain merchant from the north. I have arranged to transport grain here with your family's head steward. This is the note he gave me. Please take a look."
The guard unfolded the paper and examined it closely in the light; it was indeed the head steward's monogram.
While Luo Shouxin was dealing with the guards, Lin Yinan carefully examined the Fan family's granary through the open door. The granary was built in the style of an underground cellar, and there were four granaries in total.
As the guards were sizing him up, Luo Shouxin led them over. "Sir, this is my master."
Lin Yinan glanced at the guard indifferently, and Yun Mo, who was standing next to him, very tactfully took out a purse from his sleeve and stuffed it into the guard's hand.
