Finally, she was treated to a meal. Guo Xiaoxiao didn't care about other people's opinions and wolfed down the meat without any regard for her image, chewing it thoroughly and swallowing it.

Kevin looked at Guo Xiaoxiao with disdain. He thought she looked exactly like a refugee orc, as if she hadn't eaten in eight lifetimes.

"Don't choke, take your time."

Xiong Da handed her some water, which Guo Xiaoxiao took and drank. Filling her stomach, she finally felt a little better. Since she was going to die anyway, she figured she might as well die with a full stomach.

Kevin: "Let's hurry, before they find us."

Guo Xiaoxiao looked around at her surroundings. The lush trees blocked out the sunlight, making it difficult for her to see clearly. She had no idea where she had gone.

She whispered, "How much longer until we arrive?"

Kaiwenhua carried Guo Xiaoxiao on his back in wolf form.

"There are only seven or eight days left until we see Carlos. Don't worry."

Guo Xiaoxiao wanted to estimate how much longer her chances of escape remained.

She contacted Mickelson to tell him what happened.

Mikson said Arthur and his men were speeding up, but the orcs were cunning, sending other orcs to provide cover while several groups of them ran out to disrupt their pace.

He was forcefully driven back to the tribe by Arthur. With orcs eyeing the area from outside Yushan, and no one to keep watch, he feared trouble and returned.

Guo Xiaoxiao expressed her understanding, thinking that Kevin had asked about the people who would be there to provide backup; perhaps they were the ones trying to mislead people.

After Guo Xiaoxiao finished her call with Mickelson, she continued to lie on Kevin's back and wait, her heart filled with conflicting emotions as she ran alongside them.

She fell asleep quickly, and slept for five or six hours. When she opened her eyes, she found herself on Xiong Da's back, still standing there steadily without moving. Guo Xiaoxiao was a little confused; she clearly remembered being on Kevin's back, so how did she end up on Xiong Da's back?

"You're awake!"

Kevin said after seeing that she had slept enough

Ling Feng, what a familiar name. Guo Xiaoxiao vaguely remembered it, but not much.

"Let's rest for a bit, then we'll run again."

Kevin: "Yeah, let's go. There's a cave over there; we can hide there for a while."

Xiong Da ran over and forgot to touch the soft soil on the rock face.

"It's too damp, is it even habitable?"

Xiong Er looked around and said, "Let's stay here. Don't be picky. The rocks around here are thick; they won't collapse."

Guo Xiaoxiao thought to herself: These two burly orcs are quite particular.

Kevin placed Guo Xiaoxiao inside the cave. The cave walls were smooth, there was no wind, and it was warm, making her much more comfortable lying down.

Kevin: "Bear Two, you guard the cave entrance. Bear Big and I will go gather firewood."

Guo Xiaoxiao sat up and looked at her wrists. There were still some marks from where they had been bound, but thankfully, there were no other injuries.

Only Xiong Er remained in the cave.

Cough, cough twice, Guo Xiaoxiao said

I need to poop again.

Xiong Er: Hold it in.

Guo Xiaoxiao: "I can't hold it in anymore!"

Xiong Er: "Then you can line up inside the cave, we won't mind."

Um... I'm disgusted with you. These orcs are quite clever; they travel in small groups, so she can't find a chance to escape.

Guo Xiaoxiao kept delaying, dragging out the count to nine days, but she still couldn't escape her fate.

Beast City has been drastically changed, becoming a city resembling a demonic ruin. From the outside, it appears as a scene of utter devastation, with walls crumbling, bloodstains everywhere, and a pervasive stench of decay, as if the end of the world were imminent.

The continuous wars and ravages destroyed the former prosperity, leaving behind a desolate landscape.

Compared to the caves on the Forgotten Continent that Carlos had once visited, this place was so peaceful and harmonious.

Guo Xiaoxiao's legs trembled at the sight, and she almost fell, but luckily Kevin caught her.

She gripped Kevin's sleeve tightly, her head buzzing as if it were about to explode.

He's not human, he's a beast, a heartless madman, an absolute bastard.

Rows of orcs stood on the city wall, staring fiercely at them. When they saw a female, their eyes pounced on Guo Xiaoxiao like hungry wolves.

Xiong Er and the others stopped in their tracks, and Guo Xiaoxiao was pulled to a stop by Kevin, who had come forward.

"Hey, you dare touch Carlos's females?"

The orcs got bored, Kevin suppressed his murderous intent, and led Guo Xiaoxiao inside.

The scene inside the beast city was horrific; it was slightly better inside the city gates, where corpses weren't strewn everywhere.
