Panic gripped the tribe. Their herbs, gathered that very day, hadn't yet been transported or hidden. An attack now would result in heavy losses; in the beast world, herbs were more precious than prey.

Miksen transformed into his beast form and raced through the jungle, looking up at the eagle with a burning desire to tear that damned eagle to pieces.

Guo Xiaoxiao struggled on the eagle's back, but dared not move too much, for fear of really falling off.

Cang Jue smiled and comforted her.

"Be good, stop fooling around, save your energy for mating later."

"Screw you!" Guo Xiaoxiao was furious.

"I'm a genuine 21st-century modern woman, I don't understand your tricks. If you know what's good for you, let me go, hurry up!"

"You seem to be in great spirits. You'd better stay up long tonight, I'm really looking forward to it!"
