A system, sweet romance, beast world, ancient times, and N...P!
I was preparing to go on a trip when I opened my eyes at the boarding gate and transmigrated to the beast world. This is a good...
First up was Carlos. Everything was very cool and refreshing; you could clap harmoniously even without going to a cave in the forest.
The main point is to keep cool. Even during the intense mating, Guo Xiaoxiao didn't want to let go of Carlos. Carlos was living like an emperor.
Even at the summit, everything is so harmonious.
"Xiaoxiao, will you not like me anymore when winter comes? My skin is warm in winter and cool in summer, so you can hug me in winter, although it won't be as warm as those furry ones."
"As long as you want, I'll stay close to you. They're warm, and I'll warm myself up too, then you can hold me."
Carlos was speaking from the heart when he hugged Guo Xiaoxiao, but he also faced a problem in winter: he needed to hibernate.
Last winter it was able to break out and survive the winter, but if it doesn't hibernate this winter, it may have an impact on its health.
During the coldest month of winter, he couldn't wake up for a whole month and still had to set up a little nest. Presumably, he won't need to find a secluded cave to hide in this year.
Previously, he was afraid that the stray beasts would harm him, but now Carlos trusts those few quite well; at least they won't stab him while he's sleeping.
"It can't be that bad, can it? In winter we'll each sleep in our own rooms. We can make some thicker animal hides in winter, so we won't be cold."
In winter, she rarely cuddles with anyone to sleep, bundled up like a bear; they only hold her to sleep at night.
"I've been thinking about it, and I think I might have to hibernate this winter. I won't be able to spend a whole month with you."
"I'm wondering if I should use my power to extend my life again. If I don't hibernate for several years in a row, my mood will become manic, and I'm afraid it will hurt you."
It's only a month, Guo Xiaoxiao didn't take it seriously and immediately urged him to hurry up.
“You’re going to hibernate, don’t hesitate. You really didn’t seem to sleep at all last winter. Just make a nest in our room and sleep there. I’ll take care of you for a month.”
From the time she met Carlos until his death, when winter was still ongoing...
But throughout the entire period, it was unclear whether he had hibernated or not. Guo Xiaoxiao had a hunch that Carlos probably hadn't hibernated that winter.
"Hehe, you don't need to watch over me. I'll prepare a little nest for myself next to your mattress, so you can keep an eye on me all the time, but I won't be able to respond to you."
What is this? Although Carlos was extremely reluctant, even a month felt like a separation of heaven and earth.
But Guo Xiaoxiao thought it was no big deal. Snakes hibernate, and nobody can endure that. They should do what needs to be done in the season.
"It's okay, Carlos, don't worry. A month will pass quickly. I'll stay with you and check on you from time to time to see if you're awake."
"Once it hibernates, it won't wake up in the middle. I'll become very lazy for the first few days, and then I'll enter a deep sleep in the middle. Even if you bite me, I won't wake up."
Carlos gently recounted his hibernation experience to Guo Xiaoxiao.
Guo Xiaoxiao had a question: how did he hibernate before? He never woke up in the middle of the night, so who guarded the door for him? I suddenly remembered that the first time I met Carlos was in a very deep cave, where the mountain road was winding and twisting.
The innermost layer was a piece of animal hide that he had arranged, which was very warm, and there was a Ye Mingzhu on it for lighting.
Was he about to hibernate and was resting there when Mickson and Randy accidentally wandered into his cave and were discovered?
"Carlos, did you used to hibernate by sleeping in a cave?"
Carlos really doesn't want to recall the past; those were times of numbness and pain.
Even during hibernation, one must be wary of everyone; otherwise, even if one dies in their sleep, they won't know what happened.
Even though Guo Xiaoxiao is here now, I still feel apprehensive about hibernating in front of so many people. It's an unconscious physical reaction; I've been ambushed too many times before, and I'm already scared.
But the worst attack he suffered happened during the early stages of his hibernation, when he was in a state of being both conscious and unconscious.
A three-star orc, leading several two-star orcs, wanted to seize control of the cave, aiming to dominate the Forgotten Forest.
Carlos forced himself to unleash his power, woke up, and fought them to the death, tearing them all to pieces.
I remember he left behind one orc, barely alive, and several others that he had already cut into pieces.
He displayed this to all the wandering orcs in the cave, showing them what would happen if they dared to betray him.
This made them wary, but the good times didn't last long. A year or two later, the same thing happened again. Carlos realized the mindset of the wandering orcs; the mindset of wandering orcs was always one of fighting and vying for power.
They were not truly willing to submit to Carlos; their obedience was merely superficial, and their only aim was to gain more benefits.
But Carlos remained unmoved and continued to rule ruthlessly, though he had become remarkably lenient, to the point of near indifference.
As long as his bottom line isn't crossed, he can pretend to turn a blind eye; as long as the power in the grotto remains stable, that's all that matters.
Carlos lied to Guo Xiaoxiao, embellishing the entire period of hibernation.
"Yeah, I was so sleepy during hibernation that I couldn't stay awake any longer, so I just stayed in that cave. That cave had many entrances and was very safe."
"If I hibernate in the cave, there will be stray animals to keep watch for me. They are very loyal to me, so there is nothing to worry about."
