Miksen was a little disappointed. He had thought that the Jumping Orc tribe would definitely know about corn seeds. He had described Guo Xiaoxiao to Xiao Rui, hoping he could give him some clues.

Xiao Rui understood immediately; they were talking about "Big Stick Seeds," which they had plenty of.

"Yes, yes, I'll take you to see the warehouse."

The Jumping Orcs don't take outsiders to the warehouse, except for Miksen. Miksen had once saved Little Rui in the wild, so Little Rui was very fond of Miksen and led him all the way to the warehouse.

Miksen inspected them one by one and found that each potato was plump and uniform in size. It seemed the Jumping Orcs had cultivated quite a bit, consistent with their racial characteristics.

Xiao Rui moved a basket from the corner. A piece of animal hide lay at the bottom of the basket, which was filled with all sorts of animal-shaped pouches used for storing seeds. These were the accumulated possessions of the Jumping Beastman over the years.

Xiao Rui took out a beast-shaped pouch with strange markings and said to Mikeson...

"Here's a Big Stick Seed, take it."

Mickelson took the bag. Was it really corn? He remained skeptical. Guo Xiaoxiao said corn, but Xiao Rui said it was big sticks? "I'll try anything," he said, "I'm not really looking for it."

Xiao Rui called him back before he left.

"Mickson, wait a minute."

Mickelson stopped in his tracks, puzzled, and asked Xiao Rui.

Is there anything else?

“Micken, our tribe is running low on fox pelts. Winter is coming, and we're worried we won't have enough time to trade. Um, if you have any extra, could you…”

Xiao Rui scratched his head shyly, not daring to look directly at Mickson.

Miksen understood what Xiao Rui meant. The Jumping Beast was a shy orc, a rare breed who didn't fight or compete; taking his things meant there should be reciprocity, he said.

"No problem, I'll have Mikel bring it."

Xiao Rui looked surprised, not expecting Mikeson to agree so readily, and thanked him repeatedly.

"Thank you so much! Mickson, you're so kind. You can come visit the tribe sometime! And feel free to take any more seeds you need, we have plenty!"

"Uh-huh"

Mickelson replied that he secured the bag on his back to prevent it from falling off while running.

Xiao Rui: "I'll head back now, goodbye."

Little Rui skipped and hopped inside. Watching Little Rui's lively figure disappear into the air, Miken smiled and turned to leave.

Back in Yushan, Mikesen gave Guo Xiaoxiao the corn and tomatoes that Xiao Rui had given him. The golden corn, the unexpected tomatoes, and even the seeds made him almost cry with joy.

Jumping Orcs, you are a ray of light in the beast world, illuminating my path forward. Now I don't have to eat wild vegetables anymore; every now and then, I can have Miken bring back some fruits for a treat.

"Xiaoxiao, is this right? Is this the corn seed you're looking for?"

"Yes, absolutely right."

Guo Xiaoxiao couldn't wait any longer and wanted to try growing her own corn. The task required her to grow corn, but the finished product didn't count. It didn't matter; having corn to eat was just as good.
