Chapter 774 Tang Bingfeng's Ruthlessness

Hefeng Town.

"Listen to me, I'll go in and rescue Aunt Rong. You just find a place to hide near the entrance and don't let the Tang family find you."

Wu Gousheng shielded Fang Luxue behind him and craned his neck to see the guards at the back gate of the Tang family.

"No, that's not how Sister Qi arranged it. You can't act rashly. If something happens to you, how am I supposed to explain it to Sister Qi?"

Fang Luxue shook off Wu Gousheng's hand, her face showing displeasure.

Although she was worried about her mother, she didn't want others to take risks because of her.

Although she initially disliked Wu Gousheng when they first met, she found him to be a pretty good person after spending time with him.

Moreover, Wu Gousheng is now a capable assistant under Sister Qi, managing the business, so she can't let anything happen to him.

"Fang Luxue, can you trust me this once? I'm not the same person I used to be. I'm capable of making my own judgments," Wu Gousheng explained.

"No, I'm not comfortable with that. I'll do as Sister Qi said and go together," Fang Luxue insisted.

Wu Gousheng looked at Fang Luxue with some helplessness and sighed, "I'll go by myself. Even if I'm discovered, I'll find a way to get out unscathed. I don't feel comfortable taking you with me."

"Do you think I'm a burden?" Fang Luxue asked.

Wu Gousheng immediately shook his head, and kept shaking it like a rattle-drum.

"No, I never thought of you as a burden, I just... I just..." Wu Gousheng stammered for a long time without being able to utter a complete sentence.

It was a very simple sentence; he was just worried that Fang Luxue might get hurt.

But the words wouldn't come out.

"Stop just standing there, hurry up. My uncle might not be back for a while after he goes out, so go in early and come out early," Fang Luxue urged.

“Okay, I’ll climb over the wall and get in,” Wu Gousheng said, looking around.

Seeing no one, he quickly ran to the Tang family's wall, preparing to climb over it.

However, as soon as he climbed over the wall, he saw several vicious dogs baring their teeth at him.

He suddenly realized something was wrong.

As he turned to leave, he heard Fang Luxue calling his name.

"Wu Gousheng, run!"

Fang Luxue was trying to save Wu Gousheng in her own way, but unfortunately it was ineffective.

After seeing Fang Luxue being held down by two servants from the Tang family, Wu Gousheng jumped off the wall and walked towards her.

"Wu Gousheng, what are you doing? Hurry up and run!" Fang Luxue said urgently.

She didn't understand why this guy wasn't running away now, and was just waiting to be caught by the Tang family.

It now appears that the Tang family had discovered them and Wu Gousheng long ago and deliberately waited for them to make a move before arresting them.

Fang Luxue knew Tang Bingfeng's methods and didn't want Wu Gousheng to suffer, but she didn't expect Wu Gousheng to deliver himself to her door.

"Are you an idiot?" she couldn't help but yell.

“I promised my sister I would take you back with me,” Wu Gousheng grinned.

He pulled out a dagger hidden in his boot and stabbed at the servant who was holding Fang Luxue down.

One of the servants let go, then quickly grabbed Wu Gousheng's wrist and twisted it forcefully.

With a clang, the dagger fell to the ground.

Despite his contorted face and inability to open his eyes, Wu Gousheng continued to kick the servants defiantly.

Immediately afterwards, his knee was struck hard.

With a "crack," the bone broke.

"ah!!!"

Wu Gousheng could no longer hold back, screamed in agony, and fell to the ground.

He was about to hug his injured knee when someone suddenly stepped on his back, rendering him unable to move.

"Wu Gousheng!!!" Fang Luxue's eyes turned red with anxiety.

The sound of bones cracking and screams of pain made her heart ache as if it were being squeezed.

As a familiar face appeared before her, she suddenly realized that she was the one who had harmed Wu Gousheng.

"Uncle, please let him go! He's innocent! I'll do whatever you say!" Fang Luxue roared.

Tang Bingfeng scoffed, stepping on Wu Gousheng's back and sneering, "Lu Xue, your uncle is doing this for your own good, why did you run away?"

"I...I didn't, Uncle...please let him go, okay? He doesn't know anything!" Fang Luxue said, tears streaming down her face.

"He doesn't know anything about being here? Lu Xue, your uncle is a three-year-old child. These tricks won't work on him." Tang Bingfeng said, increasing the pressure on his feet.

Wu Gousheng already had knee pain, and now that Tang Bingfeng was stepping on him, he was having difficulty breathing.

Even so, he remained stubborn.

"Fang Luxue, don't beg him. Just be yourself. He can't really do anything to me, otherwise my sister won't let him off the hook!"

Upon hearing this, Tang Bingfeng sneered, "Wu Gousheng, do you think I'm afraid? Killing you is just a matter of snapping my fingers."

“If you kill me, the Tang family won’t be at peace for long either. They’ll definitely come down to join me!” Wu Gousheng firmly believed that the Tang family couldn’t defeat Wan Qiqi.

"Then let's give it a try?" Tang Bingfeng said with a wicked smile.

A servant handed Tang Bingfeng a dagger.

Upon seeing this, Fang Luxue immediately began to struggle.

"Uncle, let him go. I'll go back with you, marry that man, and never run away again, okay?" Fang Luxue tried to break free of her restraints, but to no avail.

She deeply regretted not learning a few moves from her brother when he was learning martial arts.

"It's too late. Why didn't you behave when I gave you a chance?" Tang Bingfeng shook his head, looking regretful.

Fang Luxue burst into tears, staring intently at the dagger handed to her by the servant.

She looked around, then suddenly raised her foot and stomped hard on the person holding her down behind her.

Then, she rushed over and grabbed the blade of the dagger.

The servant who handed over the dagger was taken aback by Fang Lucue's unexpected action and was stunned for a moment before Fang Lucue snatched the dagger away.
