The sky was just beginning to brighten.

The tribe was silent; the orcs had not yet risen.

A large, fiery red tiger limped down the mountain, its once-neat fur now disheveled, and its left leg bleeding.

Judging from his appearance, he has just been through a major battle.

Every few steps, the tiger would lower its head and lick its leg before continuing on its way. For some reason, the tiger looked somewhat sad.

I'm so hungry, so tired and hungry. I wonder where my orc friend is.

As he passed by a house's fence, Lord Tiger heard a rooster clucking.

Tiger was too weak to walk. Its beastly eyes were fixed on the live chickens inside the fence. It longed to eat meat and was so hungry. It hadn't eaten anything since fighting the bear.

In the end, instinct prevailed. Tiger gave up struggling, followed his instincts, grabbed a few chickens, and wolfed them down.

After finishing eating, it realized that it had eaten too quickly and couldn't even taste the chicken. To make matters worse, it had disturbed the beastmen inside by making noise inside the house.

Lord Tiger immediately turned and ran.

When the orcs inside opened the door, the chickens in the yard had vanished without a trace, not even a feather remained.

The orc was taken aback, followed by anger and fear.

For many years, nothing like this has ever happened in the tribe. A perfectly healthy chicken just disappeared like that.

After daybreak, everyone in the village knew that someone's chicken had gone missing. It happened so quietly that the chicken owner only heard a slight noise, went outside to check, and found nothing was there.

People were talking about it, and some were quite scared.

"Could it be that some mountain spirit has come out to steal chickens? Oh my god, how scary!"

"This time they stole a chicken, next time will they eat the orcs?"

"How could such a thing happen to our tribe? Beast God, please bless your people."
