After the three of them finished eating hot pot, Guan Yun tactfully said that he was sleepy and wanted to go back to sleep.

Ahri felt it was getting late and she needed to go back to rest.

Guan Yun wanted to create an opportunity for the two of them to be alone, but seeing that Guan Nian didn't seem reluctant at all, Guan Yun decided to let it go. Since his brother wasn't in a hurry, he shouldn't act too eager either, or he might make things worse.

So, Guan Nian first took Ah Li home, and then drove Guan Yun home.

On the other side, Ahri rubbed her stomach, sitting wearily and drinking boiled water.

Girls always have those few days of their period, and they get annoyed too.

Then Ahri heard the doorbell ring. Ahri glanced at the time and saw it was almost ten o'clock.

Who is it at this moment?

Ahri walked to the door and asked, "Who is it?"

Guan Nian, standing outside the door, said, "It's me."

When Ah Li heard Guan Nian's voice, she quickly opened the door.

Guan Nian was holding a thermos. He immediately noticed Ali's pale face and felt a pang of heartache. He handed the thermos to Ali and said, "I prepared this for you. Drinking some will make you feel better."

Ahri reached out and took it. She could smell a hint of brown sugar and ginger. "Did you cook this?"

"Um."

While eating hot pot, Guan Nian noticed that after Ali came out of the restroom, she talked to a female server. She was holding her stomach with one hand. After taking something from the server, she went back into the restroom.

After she came out, she didn't eat any spicy food.

Guan Nian also smelled a faint rusty smell at the time, and he thought that Ali's relatives must have come.

So, after dropping the person off at home, he went home and made some brown sugar ginger tea to bring over.

Ah Li was already feeling a bit down, and seeing what Guan Nian had done for her, her eyes instantly welled up with tears. She said, "Guan Nian, thank you."

"Okay, see you tomorrow."

After Ah Li closed and locked the door, she went to the balcony and looked down.

A short while later, Guan Nian walked to her car, opened the door, got in, and didn't leave immediately.

Ali took out her phone and said, "Don't stay up too late, drive carefully."

A voice message just passed by like that.

Guan Nian replied: 【I know, you too, goodnight.】

After Guan Nian drove away, Ali went back inside, opened the thermos, and drank a bowl of brown sugar ginger tea. Instantly, she felt warm all over.

Ah Li went to bed late the next day, and when she woke up it was already past nine o'clock.

After tidying everything up, Ali stood on the balcony and hung up the clothes she had washed yesterday to dry.

Looking down, I saw that Guan Nian's car was already parked downstairs.

Ali thought for a moment, then picked up the thermos, took a picture of it, and sent it to Guan Nian: "Guan Nian, thank you. This brown sugar ginger tea is delicious. Would you like to come up and get the thermos?"

Ah Li wanted to post last night, but she was too tired and sleepy, so she fell asleep.

Soon, my phone received a message: "Are you up?"

[Yeah, just woke up.]

If you're tired, take a rest. I brought you breakfast though.

"Why didn't you call me? Aren't you going to lose interest?"

No, it's still warm.

The two chatted for a while, and Ah Li had already walked to the door, opened it, and waited for Guan Nian to come up.

When Guan Nian came up, he saw that Ah Li looked much better than yesterday, and he couldn't quite describe how he felt.

I'm so happy when I see my sweetheart standing inside the door waiting for me.

Guan Nian nodded and said, "The taste is alright. Guan Yun said it tastes better than what you buy outside."

"Then I'll have to try it properly. Come in quickly too." After saying that, Ahri quickly took it and walked to the table to start eating.

Guan Nian looked down and saw a pair of men's slippers placed at the door. Ali said from inside the house, "I bought these not long ago, they're your size."
