[December 20th, Weather: Rain]

The rain wasn't heavy, but it was still damp enough. However, seeing the cheerful smile on his face, I realized that the rain wasn't so bothersome after all.

In this exam, I scored one point higher than him. When he found out, he was even happier than I was, and I was even praised by the teacher.

Some people say that I was dragged up by him, and that with the top student in the grade dragging me along, even a cat could get that score.

Unfortunately, I am a cat.

When school was over, Si Nanfeng was leading his bike, and the smile on his face never left his lips.

Ahri glanced over from time to time, and he said to Ahri, "Ahri, I'm so happy, really."

"I performed exceptionally well this time, but I might not do so well next time."

Si Nanfeng said, "No, I will continue to work hard with you, and we will maintain this score." That way, they can go to the same university.

Ahri stopped and said, "You have such high expectations of me, I feel a lot of pressure."

"Feel sorry."

Si Nanfeng spoke softly, looking at Ah Li with tenderness in his eyes.

Ahri looked away and said, "I'm not going to talk about it anymore, I need to go back and study."

"Okay, send me a message if you have any questions."

Ahri got on her bicycle and rode off at a leisurely pace.

Si Nanfeng didn't ride a bicycle; instead, he pushed it along at a leisurely pace.

Ahri turned around and found that this person seemed to glow, always attracting her attention.

January 1st, Weather: Sunny

During the New Year's Day holiday, he invited me to go hiking, saying it would help relieve stress. At the top of the mountain, there was a temple. He went inside, drew a fortune stick for marriage, and said it was to pray for good luck.

I also secretly drew a fortune stick, and it was an extremely auspicious one.

As they came down from the mountain, Si Nanfeng asked Ali, "What were you doing just now?"

"Nothing."

Ah Li still had a fortune slip in her pocket; she hadn't believed in such things before. But seeing how devoutly he knelt before the Buddha statue, holding incense, Ah Li wanted to try it this time.

With New Year's Day over, the New Year is just around the corner.

Ali tucked the fortune slip into his notebook. The fortune slip read: "A withered tree meets spring rain, a long drought meets sweet dew, a blessing from heaven (the best fortune).

There were also fortune tellers in the temple, but Ah Li didn't ask them; she just wanted the fortune to have a good meaning.

The ragdoll cat jumped onto the table, sniffed the fortune slip, rolled its eyes—it didn't believe it.

Ahri looked at the ragdoll cat and asked, "Why don't you turn into a human?"

The ragdoll cat arrogantly twirled around in front of Ali and said, "I'm so beautiful, why did I have to become a human?"

It is indeed beautiful.

His body was slender and supple, and his hair was as smooth and delicate as silk, shimmering with a faint luster.

When you touch Ahri, you can feel that his fur is soft and warm, like the gentle sunlight shining on you, making you want to reach out and touch it.

His bright eyes, like two sparkling gems, were a light blue. His fur was white, with a touch of gray between his eyebrows and eyes.

Ah Li could still hear the purring sound coming from the Ragdoll cat's throat, so she withdrew her hand.

The Ragdoll cat finally came to his senses and looked at Ahri, "How could you just grab someone like that?"

"Sorry, I just happened to be carrying it."

Even a Ragdoll cat would want to say that it's not clean anymore.

However, considering that Ah Li and Si Nanfeng are currently only in a friendship stage and their relationship is still uncertain, he said, "Do you want me to give you a hand and get that person to confess to you sooner?"

Ahri shook her head, "No need, let nature take its course."

Just then, a cat appeared outside the window. It was a female cat, and she called out to Ali and the Ragdoll cat, "Hurry up and go to the cat cafe for a meeting!"

Ali and the Ragdoll cat looked at each other, and Ali transformed into a Scottish Fold cat, leaving through the window together with the Ragdoll cat.

The Ragdoll cat even had the mind to tease Ali, "Not bad, you look like you have short legs, but you run pretty fast."

Ali meowed twice at the Ragdoll cat, "Watch out, you might get a beating, I'm telling you."

The Ragdoll cat wasn't afraid at all; its long tail swept across Ali's back, and it even ran forward a couple of steps with a smug look on its face.

Ahri didn't chase after them; instead, she continued running forward.

She and her Ragdoll cat jumped onto the fence of a house one after the other, and quite a few other cats followed.

Suddenly, the Ragdoll cat meowed at Ali, "Your Mr. Right is right ahead."

Ahri quickly darted into the bushes nearby. Seeing how fast Ahri was, the Ragdoll cat stood outside the bushes and laughed, "Just kidding!"

Upon realizing he'd been tricked, Ahri burst out of the bushes and charged at the Ragdoll cat, yelling, "I'll fight you to the death!"

Before the ragdoll cat could even dodge, it was grabbed by the back of its neck.

Ah Li dared not move and quickly stood still. It was Si Nanfeng.

Si Nanfeng held the Ragdoll cat by the scruff of its neck and looked at Ali.

Ahri meowed softly.

Si Nanfeng looked down at the ragdoll cat in his hand and said, "Don't bully the weak."

The Ragdoll cat seemed to have been choked by fate; he was very obedient, even his tail swayed as if trying to please.

Si Nanfeng also said to Ali, "You go first, and I'll release him after you leave."

"Meow."
