Upon hearing the sound, the males in the cave emerged one after another, surrounding their respective partners and guarding them, their eyes warily scanning their surroundings.

The fox narrowed its eyes slightly, quickly emerged from the cave, and gazed into the distance. Yang Yun and Kong Ming immediately spread their wings and flew away to investigate the situation.

Summer and oranges were surrounded, staring at each other in bewilderment.

She bit her lower lip lightly, patted her iron-white arm, and frowned slightly as she listened to the faint cries for help.

Then he turned to look at Chengguo: "Chengguo, don't run away, I'm going inside for a while."

There was only one small bag in total. Half of the oranges were given to Shengxia, and the other half were stir-fried and placed on the table.

The spicy, savory, and crispy texture brought Shengxia back to her senses. Her pupils dilated, and she smiled as she looked at the food on the plate.

Her breathing quickened, and she grabbed the orange's hand.

"Guoguo, where did you find this? Are there any more?"

These are peanuts! And they're red-skinned ones!

Peanut butter, crushed peanuts, salted peanuts, boiled peanuts, peanuts soaked in vinegar, spicy peanuts...

Thinking about all those peanut snacks, Shengxia's mouth was watering, and her eyes sparkled as she looked at the orange.

Cheng Guo understood immediately from her expression, winked with a grin, raised her chin slightly, and said in a sweet voice.

"This was given to me by a male bat. I specially saved half for you. Take it back and stir-fry it."

After saying that, he waved to Kongming, who always had a smile on his face as he looked at Chengguo.

He nodded, quickly took out a small leather bag of peanuts, and handed it to the fox next to Shengxia.

Fox Snow curled her lips, nodded to Kong Ming, thanked him, and took the gift, handing it to Sheng Xia with both hands.

"Sister Xiaxia, quickly see if we can plant it."

Judging from her expression, it's clear that she doesn't just want to eat; she probably wants to cultivate a space.

With a slight smile, Sheng Xia's almond-shaped eyes curved slightly as she took the item with both hands and handed it to Qingmu, saying with a soft laugh.

"Aoki, see if it can sprout. If it can, plant it in the soil like a sweet potato."

Aoki smiled brightly, revealing his clean, white teeth. He hopped over in a few steps and wiped his hands clean.

"I'll give it a try."

He slowly picked up a peanut and activated his supernatural ability.

The tender green buds trembled as they broke through the red skin and grew out, and the smile on his lips widened even further.

"Summer, it's okay to plant! Shall I go now?"

Hearing his affirmation, Sheng Xia loosened her clenched hands, smiled, and leaned in to give him a deep kiss.

"My lion is amazing, go!"

The peanuts were a bit bigger than modern ones, and they tasted much better.

Shengxia looked at the leisurely oranges with a smile and said with a light laugh, "You can plant them, and I'll share some with you when they're grown."

Guoguo is truly her treasure!

“Okay!” Orange nodded excitedly.

Tie Bai lowered his gaze slightly, extended his slender fingers, pulled Sheng Xia's hand to his lips, and gently kissed it.

In a good mood, Shengxia kissed Tiebai, then turned and kissed Yangyun, Fox, and Wolf King one by one, humming a cheerful tune.

The pleasant mood was quickly interrupted when a male carrying a strong female on his back limped over.

Upon seeing the group of beasts in the height of summer, their eyes lit up.

The little female on his back wore a clean onesie made of animal skin, her dark skin glossy, her face round, and her lips moist and shiny.

She clearly hadn't experienced hardship; she was well taken care of.

The little female shook her head repeatedly, angrily slapped him on the head, and then tenderly patted him.

She lowered her eyes to wipe away the tears, then looked up and spoke to them with a hint of urgency.

"Please, save him."

Her tribe hadn't seen rain in a long time; the land was clumped together, the lakes had dried up, and they had to go deep into the forest to get a drink of water.

She encountered ferocious beasts during her migration and was forced to separate from her pack. Over the next few days, her companions searched for water for her, but they all died one by one.

All she has left is Yu Yi.
