The wind had stopped at some point, and the fresh scent of grass and trees wafted over, making Xie Hong breathe a sigh of relief.

He glanced at Shengxia to make sure she wasn't frightened, then casually instructed the male to tidy up the altar that had been messed up by the wind.

He clearly saw a flash of surprise and fear in the beast's eyes before it died.

Jiao Su lowered her eyes, her calm, serene golden pupils revealing a hint of monstrous beauty.

When Sheng Xia finally got a clear look at the beast, it was already headless, and dark red blood was splattered all over the ground.

Suddenly, the beast's head twitched. Sheng Xia's heart tightened, and she bit her lower lip tightly, swallowing her scream.

Aoki's eyes darkened, his gaze sharpening as he looked at the ground, and he stomped on it without hesitation.

Aoki's eyes lit up. He picked it up, cleaned it, and with a bright smile, moved closer to Shengxia.

The atmosphere instantly became somber.

Unable to contain herself any longer, Sheng Xia threw herself into Jiao Su's arms and gagged reflexively.

Tie Bai and the others hurriedly covered her eyes and surrounded Sheng Xia to protect her.
