The door of the VIP room was opened and two people came in from outside.

One of them is Ji Min, the one we agreed on, but...

"Why is she here?" Lu Guansheng pointed at Kang Xueke and asked.

"Didn't you say to bring everything with you?" Ji Min smiled. "I packed up the intelligence center and brought it with me!"

Lu Guansheng held his forehead.

He was trying to figure out with his toes that Ji Min hadn't brought this girl here on his own initiative! She must have heard about going to Eden Bay and had come here unscrupulously.

"We're not going there to play!" Lu Guansheng glared at Kang Xueke.

"Oh! Got it!" Kang Xueke put down his luggage and picked up a strawberry sundae to eat.

"Go check it in yourself!" Lu Guansheng and Ji Min both traveled light with only one carry-on luggage, while Kang Xueke brought a large 26-inch suitcase alone.

"It's still early! Let's do it after we finish eating!" Kang Xueke answered slowly.

After thinking about it, he decided that this was actually a good idea! When he got to Eden Bay, he could let this little girl wander around on her own. It would give him some peace of mind!

Lu Guansheng suggested going to Eden Bay, but he actually had another consideration, which was that the anti-black group's air force base was there.

In fact, there are private and secure places in Jincheng, but for such a large-scale operation, it would be better to meet the action team in person at the base to discuss the matter.

It was already midnight when we arrived at Eden Bay.

Lawrence Lu had a private residence on the island, so he swept a car directly from the cabin and drove to the villa.

It was the middle of the night and Lu Guansheng didn't have time to argue with her. He went in, put down his suitcase, took a shower and went to bed.

"Is Brother Guansheng an old man? It's just past twelve o'clock and he's already asleep?" Kang Xueke, a night owl, was still in good spirits.

"For a president, going to bed early and getting up early is a sign of self-discipline!" Ji Min didn't think there was anything wrong with that.

"I can't sleep!" Kang Xueke was bored. "Want to play a game with me?"

"Just one game! I'm an old man and don't want to get wrinkles from staying up all night!"

"yeah!"

Lu Guansheng was indeed self-disciplined. At around seven in the morning, he had already prepared breakfast and was sitting at the dining table reading the news.

Ji Min also came out of the room before eight o'clock.

"The goddess is up?" Lawrence Lu looked up. "There's warm soy milk in the kitchen, and millet porridge in the pot."

Lu Guansheng knew the living habits of Ji Min and his family. Ji Min and Kang Ziqiang both liked to drink porridge and soy milk in the morning with some pickles.

Kang Xueke is the only one who likes to drink coffee early in the morning. The reason is that she is a night owl and feels less energetic in the morning than at night!

But she also likes eating things like steamed buns, shengjian (stir-fried dumplings), and pot stickers. Soy milk doesn't refresh her, so she often drinks a caramel latte with shengjian, which is a weird combination!

It was past eight o'clock, Ji Min and Lu Guansheng had finished their meal long ago, and Kang Xueke just then came into the kitchen, half asleep and half awake, wearing a nightgown and rubbing her eyes.

Then came the sound of grinding beans, then the hissing sound of frothing milk, and then the sound of the kitchen door opening and closing, and then opening and closing again.

"Glass cabinet on the right!" Lu Guansheng knew she was looking for caramel syrup, so he shouted towards the kitchen, "It's so early in the morning, keep quiet!"

"Ah!" Kang Xueke took a sip of the caramel latte and sighed, "Finally alive!"

They were all acquaintances, so Kang Xueke, without any image, sat cross-legged at the dining table in her wrinkled nightgown. Only after she sat down did she realize she hadn't gotten her breakfast yet!

"Brother Guansheng! I don't want to move! Can you bring me the fried dumplings?"

"You're so lazy, why haven't you gained weight yet?" Lu Guansheng retorted to her and got up to go to the kitchen.

"You're the only one! You're so disrespectful!" Ji Min said helplessly to Kang Xueke, "Go change after you finish eating. Your clothes are so wrinkled, it's awkward to look at them!"

"Goddess! You've retired for so many years! Why do you still care about the quilt that has to be folded with sharp corners?" Kang Xueke coquettishly took Ji Min's arm and leaned his face directly on her shoulder.

Kang Xueke had just woken up. She was not wearing any makeup and had a simple bun on her head, looking young and fresh.

Isn't it? People in their twenties and twenties are always full of youth.

Pinching Kang Xueke's smooth little face, Ji Ren smiled and said, "Sit tight!"

Breakfast was served, and a plate of fried dumplings was devoured in just a few minutes!

"These mushrooms are more fragrant than those in Jincheng!" Kang Xueke commented while wiping his mouth.

"Shiitake mushrooms?" Lu Guansheng glanced at Kang Xueke. "This is made with king oyster mushrooms, chicken leg mushrooms, and black pork! What's your taste level?"

After returning to her room, changing into casual clothes and putting on some light makeup, Kang Xueke went into the living room and looked like a normal person again.

Lawrence Lu glanced at her. Today she didn’t have heavy makeup and red lips like usual, and she looked much more pleasing to the eye.
