Lu Guansheng said he was going to Jinhao Private Hospital, and Qian Jiujin was anxious to know whether the person lying in the hospital was his father.

It has been almost thirty years since they thought Qian Beijiang was dead, but what happened today was really unexpected!

After listening to stories for a whole morning, Mrs. Qian was tired and did not keep the two younger generations to have vegetarian meals with her.

Since Lu Nancheng had deliberately concealed this matter, it would take more than a minute or two to understand it. Lu Guansheng decided to go eat first. Only after eating would he have the energy to have a good chat with Zhong Bo.

"With such a big thing hanging in the balance, you still have the time to eat?" Qian Jiujin rolled his eyes at Lu Guansheng.

"Uncle! You need to know how to maintain your health!" Lu Guansheng regained his stern demeanor to ease the atmosphere. "If my stomach growls while we're talking later, people will think I'm mistreating my elders!"

“Who’s old?”

"Besides, Uncle Zhong must be eating. Even if you are not old, don't you still have to take care of Uncle Zhong's health?"

"You're the only one with so many crooked ideas!"

However, Qian Jiujin thought about it and realized that what Lu Guansheng said made sense. Besides, they weren't going out for a fancy meal; they just found a decent restaurant and ordered two business set meals to fill their stomachs!

I've waited for twenty-eight years, and just one hour is missing?

Finally arriving at Jinhao Private Hospital, they went straight to Zhong Yihan's office without reporting.

"Eh? You're skipping work today, brat?" Zhong Bo looked up at the person who had come, then glanced at Qian Jiujin behind him, "And you brought Qian Dakuan with you?"

"Uncle Zhong! I want to ask about someone." Ignoring Uncle Zhong's teasing, Lu Guansheng asked directly.

"Who are you asking about?"

"Jiang Mo!"

Hearing this name, Zhong Yihan's mischievous demeanor suddenly faded. He looked at Qian Jiujin meaningfully, then stood up and closed the office door.

"Did Old Man Lu appear in your dream?" Zhong Yihan spoke after the three of them sat down on the sofa.

"Dream?"

"Old Man Lu has been gone for two years, and you're suddenly asking me about Jiang Mo now. If it wasn't a dream, how did you know about it?"

Zhong Yihan meant that if Lu Nancheng had confessed it long ago, he wouldn't have waited two years to come to him. Lu Guansheng must have just found out!

"I discovered this strange person only after I accidentally found the letter my grandfather left me." Lu Guansheng nodded.

"Sure enough! Old man Lu has decided not to hide it from you!" Zhong Bo knew that Lu Nancheng was struggling with whether to let Lu Guansheng know and whether to involve him.

Now, not only has Lu Guansheng gotten involved, but even Qian Jiujin has been brought in! Is this God's will?

"Guessed it?" Zhong Yihan asked Qian Jiujin.

"I guessed it roughly." Qian Jiujin nodded.

"Oh! Come with me!" Zhong Yihan sighed, stood up and took the two of them out of the office.

The place they came to was a side building of Jinhao Private Hospital, which was the hospital's sanatorium.

Zhong Yihan stopped in front of an independent one-story building.

"This is it. I want to remind you, no one is allowed to tell anyone what you saw or heard today!"

Seeing the two of them nod, Zhong Yihan took off a personal pendant from his neck.

He folded the pendant several times until it became an antique key. Using the key, they opened the door and walked into the building.

As soon as I entered the door, a strong smell of disinfectant hit my nose.

Passing the small living room, Lu Nancheng opened the door of a room.

This is a well-lit south-facing room, with sunlight pouring into the entire bedroom through the one-way glass.

In the middle of the bedroom lay an elderly man, lifeless and covered in tubes. The only sign of life was the beeping heartbeat on the electrocardiograph.

Although the old man looked pale and thin, Qian Jiujin recognized at a glance that he was his father, Qian Beijiang.

"Dad!" Qian Jiujin took a few steps forward and blurted out, "What's wrong with him?"

"He's been lying in a vegetative state for almost 30 years!" said Zhong Yihan.

"Then why...why..."

"I can't say." Zhong Yihan knew that Qian Jiujin was going to ask why he had kept it a secret from his family, letting everyone think that his father was dead?

"Can't tell?"

"If I had told you back then, your father would probably be dead now!" Zhong Yihan explained.

"Uncle Zhong! What is the relationship between grandpa and the Hades?" Lu Guansheng, who was standing on the side, suddenly asked.

"You kid, even the Hades knows about it? So... the last time you brought Fu Ti here to hide from the reporters, did you offend the Hades?" Zhong Yihan answered the question irrelevantly.

"I'll explain this to you alone later." Lu Guansheng didn't want Qian Jiujin to know too much. He was afraid that it would implicate Qian Jiujin and make him uneasy.

"Why did you think of the Hades directly?" Zhong Yihan felt that his question was very sudden.

Lu Guansheng pointed at Qian Beijiang's neck.

Zhong Yihan understood, but Qian Jiujin, who was standing opposite him, was still confused.

He walked to the side where Lu Guansheng was standing and looked at the place he pointed.

A tattoo of the word "Ming" and a scar about an inch long were clearly visible.

"What is this?" Qian Jiujin looked up and asked Lu Guansheng.

"The mark of a member of the Hades!" Lu Guansheng felt that Qian Jiujin could not escape this entanglement, so he no longer concealed it.

"Impossible! How could my father be the Hades' man? This must be a mistake!"

"Uncle Zhong! Is there something hidden?" Lu Guansheng was calm.
