Startled by those words, Yue Qi gave an awkward smile: "Senior Brother just said he had some things to take care of, so..."

He paused after speaking, and seeing that Xiao Lu'er's brows furrowed, he quickly added, "However, Senior Brother will be here soon. I have already ordered someone to prepare the meal."

The two entered the room, where a sumptuous feast was laid out on the table. Yue Qi sat on a stool and warmly greeted Xiao Lu'er, "Let's eat."

"Not waiting for Jian Chen to arrive?" Little Deer lowered her eyes slightly, slowly walked to the seat, and sat down.

Before she could finish speaking, she plopped down on the stool again, slumped onto the table, and fainted.

Seeing her completely faint, Yue Qi smiled sinisterly.
