Lu Bu was slightly taken aback, then replied, "Yes, sir!"

"Remember, the provisions for our million-strong army are entirely in your hands!" Dong Zhuo instructed again.

Lü Bu nodded: "This subordinate understands!"

He then turned and walked towards the door.

"General Lü!" Cao Cao suddenly called out to him.

Lu Bu stopped and looked at Cao Cao with a puzzled expression, asking, "Brother Mengde, what are your orders?"

Cao Cao took a deep breath and said slowly, "General Lü, we are now at a critical moment of life and death. Please be careful!"

Lu Bu's lips curled slightly upward as he said calmly, "Even if Lu Li comes in person, I will not be afraid!"

After saying that, Lu Li turned around, walked outside the tent, mounted his horse, and galloped quickly towards Wuchao.

Just as Cao Cao had predicted, Han Sui, Ma Chao, and Gao Shun had already laid siege to Wuchao.

Although the Xiliang cavalry were not good at siege warfare, they were highly mobile and their goal was to launch a surprise attack on Wuchao.

"Brothers! Charge! Burn the grain supplies at Wuchao!" Ma Chao shouted.

Before Hua Xiong could close the city gates, 60,000 Xiliang cavalrymen had already arrived.

In an instant, the two armies clashed.

Although Hua Xiong had an army of 150,000, he was no match for the Xiliang army and was repeatedly defeated by the Xiliang cavalry.

Seeing this, Hua Xiong immediately roared, "Attention everyone! Form a flying goose formation! Hold them off for me, even if it costs you your lives!"

He led his army to quickly form a wedge formation.

The two long weapons clashed together, sparking brilliant flashes.

The immense force of the shock nearly caused Hua Xiong to fall off his horse.

Ma Chao pressed his advantage, unleashing dozens of thrusts in succession, each one cunning and unpredictable.

Hua Xiong gritted his teeth and tried his best to block it.

Unfortunately, Ma Chao's martial arts skills were simply too strong, and his steed was also exceptionally fine. Therefore, even though Hua Xiong tried his best, he still could not withstand Ma Chao's ferocious offensive.

Hua Xiong stared wide-eyed, his face pale, clearly not expecting that he was about to die.

Just then, a sonic boom suddenly rang out in the distance, and an arrow struck Ma Chao's spear, deflecting it.

Ma Chao was shocked. He turned his head and looked over. His pupils shrank instantly, and he shouted fiercely, "Lü Bu!"

A general, clad in armor, rode on Red Hare, still in the posture of drawing his bow and nocking an arrow.

"I remember you. Your name is Ma Chao, right?"

"I killed your father!" Lu Bu's icy voice seemed to drift from hell, sending chills down one's spine.

Ma Chao's expression shifted rapidly, instantly igniting his anger!

"You treacherous dog Lü Bu, I wish I could eat your flesh and sleep on your skin! Take this!"

Ma Chao let out a low shout, flicked his spear, and thrust it towards Lü Bu.

Lu Bu, however, showed no weakness, swinging his halberd to meet Ma Chao head-on.

"Clang~"

The spear and halberd clashed violently, sending countless sparks flying.

Ma Chao was knocked off his horse, while Lü Bu remained unmoved, as steady as Mount Tai.

Lu Bu stared at Ma Chao and smiled contemptuously: "Ma Chao! Your father was nothing special back then, do you want to be like him today?"

"Lu Bu! You're courting death!"

Ma Chao was furious. He roared and got up, charging forward again!

This time, he used all his strength to thrust his spear into Lü Bu's chest!

"Hmph, a mere trick!"

Lu Bu snorted coldly, swung his halberd, and easily deflected Ma Chao's attack.

Then, the halberd shot out like a meteor and slammed heavily onto Ma Chao's shoulder.

"Crack!" The sound of bones breaking rang out, and Ma Chao screamed in agony, kneeling on one knee, clutching his wound, his face contorted in pain!

"How...how is this possible?" Ma Chao was filled with fear, unable to believe that he was not even a match for Lü Bu. How could this be?

Lu Bu raised his halberd, walked up to Ma Chao, looked down at him, and said coldly, "I don't even consider you a threat. If you weren't Lu Li's apprentice, you would already be a corpse!"

Upon hearing this, Ma Chao's face contorted with rage. His fists clenched so tightly that his nails dug into his flesh, drawing blood droplets. Yet, he seemed oblivious to the pain. His eyes blazed with boundless hatred as he stared intently at Lü Bu, roaring, "Lü Bu, I will kill you! I will grind you to dust!"

"You think you can beat me?" Lu Bu curled his lip in disdain.
