At the end of the Warring States period, he studied under Guiguzi, practiced the strategy of alliances and confederacies, established the Black Ice Platform, and helped Ying Zheng sweep across the ...
Guiguzi smiled mysteriously and said, "Go find an old monster and ask him for a treasure!"
Lu Li's eyes lit up when he heard there was a treasure.
The Tianwen Bronze Sword in his hand was won by Guiguzi from the Mohists.
Seeing the old man and the young boy, both wearing sly smiles, Little Deer felt a chill run down her spine. Whenever these two showed that expression, nothing good was coming!
Five days later, at Wangwu Mountain.
Lu Li and Guiguzi arrived at the foot of the mountain.
"Master, where is this?"
"Wangwu Mountain is a Taoist holy site!"
Taoism! Lu Li was immediately shocked.
The most famous representatives of Taoism are Laozi and Zhuangzi, two figures whose names have been remembered throughout history.
Laozi was a student of Shang Rong and served as the Keeper of the Archives in the Zhou Dynasty during the Spring and Autumn Period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. He was a thinker of the Spring and Autumn Period in China. His work is widely known as the "Tao Te Ching," a classic text of Taoism and Daoism.
Zhuangzi was a renowned thinker, philosopher, and writer, a representative figure of the Daoist school, an inheritor and developer of Laozi's philosophical thought, and the founder of the pre-Qin Zhuangzi school. He is also known for the widely circulated story of Zhuang Zhou dreaming of being a butterfly.
Lu Li didn't know what his teacher was doing at the Taoist temple, but his teacher had mentioned before that he wanted to ask an old friend for a treasure.
Lu Li was still looking forward to it. Although Guiguzi usually treated Lu Li very badly, he would give Lu Li almost all the good things.
After all, he was Guiguzi's only direct disciple.
"Let's go, come with me to see an old friend."
Two foxes, one old and one young, along with a deer, quietly climbed up Mount Wangwu.
The Taoist temple is located in a valley in Wangwu Mountain, surrounded by lush green trees and clear streams. The entire temple is filled with a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere, seemingly completely isolated from the hustle and bustle of the world.
The Taoists made the right choice in selecting this sacred site.
The two arrived at the mountain gate, but were stopped by the martial arts guards.
Guiguzi simply took out a waist token and handed it to the martial artist, who, after looking at it, actually let him pass.
Rows of blue stone benches are placed in the square for Taoist disciples to use for meditation and cultivation.
In the center is a clear spring, its water flowing gently and exuding a refreshing fragrance. Several small fish frolic in it, as if dancing with the practitioners.
On the other side of the square is an ancient pavilion with calligraphy and paintings hanging under the eaves, all inscribed with classic Taoist texts on cultivation.
Inside the pavilion, several elderly men were sitting quietly. They were all highly accomplished Taoist masters, teaching cultivation methods to the disciples of the Taoist temple.
Upon seeing Guiguzi and Lu Li, an old man was the first to stand up.
"You old codger, what brings you to my Wangwu Mountain?"
Lu Li looked closely and saw that the old man was thin, with white hair and beard, wearing a purple robe. He looked quite refined, but his eyes revealed a sharp glint, making him appear extremely shrewd.
"Hahaha, old man, I've come to see if you're dead yet," Guiguzi asked loudly.
"You old codger! You're so old and still so frivolous. You're not dead, how could I possibly be?" The old man retorted, but Lu Li could sense that the two had a very good relationship.
After saying that, the old man looked at Lu Li and asked, "And who is this?"
Lu Li quickly stepped forward, cupped his hands, and said, "Junior Lu Li greets Senior!"
The old man looked at Lu Li and nodded repeatedly.
"Well, you old codger, at your age, you've actually found a successor. Heaven won't destroy your Ghost Valley lineage."
"Bah! If I wanted to take on disciples, I would have just as many as you! But I would rather have none than have bad ones!"
After the two argued for a while, the old man invited Guiguzi and his two disciples into the inner room.
"Speak, you old codger, you must have something to say to me," the old man said, half-closing his eyes.
Guiguzi stroked his beard and slowly said, "I've come to demand your Taoist soldiers!"
Lu Li was immediately taken aback. What was a Taoist soldier? He had read many ancient books in the past three years, but he had never heard of it before.
Upon hearing this, the old man in the family immediately bristled and glared.
"You're delusional! Impossible! Absolutely impossible!!!"
"What? Old man, you want to back out?" Guiguzi revealed a sly smile.
The old man's face flushed red, and he finally gritted his teeth and said, "Anything is fine! Just not the soldier!!!"
Guiguzi coughed and said to Lu Li, "Disciple, Little Deer, you two go out first. I have something important to discuss with this old fellow!"
Lu Li nodded and got up to leave obediently, but when he reached the door, he saw Guiguzi rolling up his sleeves!
"Holy crap! Are we going to get into a fight?"
As soon as Lu Li stepped out of the house, he heard clanging and banging sounds coming from inside, accompanied by occasional screams.
Then, the door opened, and Guiguzi straightened his clothes and walked out gracefully.
"Old man! Why didn't you just give it to me earlier?"
Lu Li was curious and wanted to peek into the house, but Guiguzi interrupted him.
"Hey brat, what are you looking at? Get out of here!"
Then the old man inside the house angrily shouted, "The soldiers are on the back mountain! Get out of here!"
Upon hearing this, Guiguzi chuckled and led Lu Li and his underlings toward the back mountain.
Lu Li suddenly felt a tightness in his anus. Could these two old guys have actually fought?
And it seems like the teacher actually won?
This is outrageous! Two old men in their seventies actually got into a fight. Aren't they afraid of getting hurt with their old arms and legs?
"Master, what are these Taoist soldier figures?"
