Li Lechen simply had a dream, and surprisingly, he connected with the world two thousand years in the future.
Do you think two thousand years later is the apocalypse? Obviously not!
Med...
So Liu Yu stood outside the window and watched for a while longer.
That's when Li Lechen's smart assistant discovered it.
At that moment, Li Lechen turned around abruptly and met Liu Yu's gaze.
"Well!"
Liu Yu gasped, truly not expecting to be stared at so intently. It was as if he had eyes in the back of his head; this turn of his head was definitely not accidental!
A few seconds later, Liu Yu regained his composure and walked towards the office door.
"Report!" Liu Yu shouted loudly.
The other students taking the exam in the classroom, as well as Zheng Fangxing, all looked towards the door.
Except for Li Lechen, everyone else lowered their heads again and started working on the problems.
Liu Yu glanced at Li Lechen, then avoided his gaze. Feeling a little flustered, he could only pretend to be calm as he walked towards Zheng Fangxing, just past Li Lechen.
I also took a look at his test paper. It was an A4 sheet of paper, and he had written about half of it neatly, so I guess he had finished the whole question.
horrible!
It's scary enough to have an opponent who can do magic tricks just like you, but he's also a top student.
Fortunately, a closer look at his clothes revealed that they were not designer brands.
This put Liu Yu at ease.
Zheng Fangxing quickly arranged a seat for Liu Yu and printed out the test paper. It was the same A4 paper with four questions, just like Li Lechen's.
Because Liu Yu's strengths are also in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, he once won fourth place in the East China region of the Physics Olympiad, which is a pretty good result.
The office quieted down again, and everyone continued working on their problems.
Li Lechen checked the time; it was already 11:05. He stopped chatting with the smart assistant and continued doing his exercises.
The smart assistant was also very helpful, continuing to provide answers, even with detailed steps.
Fifteen minutes later, all four questions were copied.
"old......"
"teacher."
Just as I was about to hand in my paper, I heard Liu Yu raise his hand.
"What is it?" Zheng Fangxing asked.
"I need a piece of scrap paper."
Upon hearing this, several students looked at Liu Yu in surprise. This guy had been in the exam for over ten minutes; surely he shouldn't be only now starting to write? Otherwise, he wouldn't be asking for scratch paper so late.
When Zheng Fangxing went over to take a look, he discovered that there was no printer or blank A4 paper on Liu Yu's desk.
Looking at Liu Yu's test paper again, I saw that he had written the answers directly on the back of the test paper where the questions were printed. He had written less than a third of the paper, and although the writing was a bit messy, it was neat and tidy.
However, Zheng Fangxing saw the final answer; regardless of the process, the answer alone indicated that it was to engage in a one-on-one chat.
He asked in surprise, "You didn't use scratch paper to solve this problem?"
"This question is very simple, no scratch paper is needed, but the second question is a little difficult, I need to work out it a bit."
Although there was a second half to the sentence, it still sounded really arrogant, even Zheng Fangxing was a little annoyed.
Liu Yu looked smugly and provocatively at Li Lechen, only to meet his gaze as Li Lechen turned around.
He raised an eyebrow.
"Teacher, I've finished. Can I hand it in now?" Li Lechen asked calmly.
"......"
At that moment, Liu Yu's provocative eyebrows were just halfway raised, forming an inverted V shape, when he heard those words and froze on the spot.
This guy must have been taking the exam an hour ago!
But that doesn't make sense either. I was with him in the square half an hour ago. If there's a time difference, it could only be a dozen minutes at most.
With such a time difference, missing just one question would already reverse the situation, so how could it be missing three questions?
Zheng Fangxing also found it unbelievable, even more so than when he learned that Liu Yu had solved the neighbor problem without using scratch paper.
He raised his wrist and looked at his watch.
The time is 11:20.
Li Lechen spent half an hour working on the four questions.
But when Zheng Fangxing took the answers Li Lechen had written on another A4 sheet of paper and looked at them, he was even more surprised: all four questions, judging from the answers alone, were absolutely correct. A quick glance at the steps revealed them to be clear and understandable.
There's no need to look at the specific details anymore.
Because you can't possibly fool people to that extent.
The questions were definitely ones I came up with this morning; they hadn't appeared in any tutoring questions or mock exams. At most, the question types were similar, but being able to get all four right is enough to demonstrate my skill.
From surprise to delight, Zheng Fangxing suddenly felt like he had struck gold and quickly said to Li Lechen, "Go back first, I'll talk to you again this afternoon."
"We're going to talk again this afternoon? I have something to do this afternoon..." Li Lechen hesitated.
"What is it? Is it important?"
Zheng Fangxing still had a bright smile on his face, so kind and approachable that Li Lechen was embarrassed to speak.
"I...want...to...take a nap this afternoon!"
Originally intending to clean, Li Lechen suddenly realized that using sleep as an excuse would enrage Old Man Zheng, thus dispelling his idea of talking to him.
And so, that's how it ended.
To everyone's surprise, Zheng Fangxing was not angry at all. Instead, he nodded repeatedly and said, "Taking a nap is indeed a good habit. Sufficient sleep can make brain cells more active and make thinking about problems more comprehensive. Come to my office after you wake up."
"But... I'll wake up at dinnertime!"
Li Lechen, having gone this far, decided to go all the way and just spout nonsense.
Under normal circumstances, this behavior would have absolutely crossed Zheng Fangxing's bottom line. The idea of taking a nap or sleeping until dinner time clearly expresses the three words: "unwillingness."
But he suppressed his anger and, unable to find a suitable reason, gestured for Li Lechen to go back first. After all, he had plenty of time to nurture this talent over the next year.
