Ma Yuanbai explained, "The shelter only sent out patrol teams, not the real core combat units, so it's normal for Zhang Biao to escape."

Li Yu frowned; Zhang Biao had actually survived.

Zhang Biao was very familiar with his supernatural abilities.

If Zhang Biao were to make contact with the refuge, he would definitely tell them everything without hesitation.

The shelter will then know who killed the executive officer.

"I'm sorry, I don't want to team up right now," Li Yu politely declined.

“No,” Ma Yuanbai said hastily, “It’s not about forming a team.”

Ma Yuanbai sighed, looking helpless: "I need your help with something."

"Help?" This word was quite new to Li Yu.

Li Yu thought about it and realized that Ma Yuanbai was one of the few people he knew, so helping him out didn't seem like a big deal.

"What kind of help?" Li Yu immediately asked.

Although she could help, Li Yu decided to ask what the matter was first.

"I want to go to the top of Xirong Mountain." Ma Yuanbai knew Li Yu's personality, so he simply stated his plan directly.

"Xirong Mountain?" Li Yu knew they were currently within the Xirong Mountain area, but he didn't really know exactly where Xirong Mountain was.

"It's Xirong Mountain, and as far as I know, strange beasts roam Xirong Mountain."

“Let alone ordinary people, even ordinary awakened individuals can’t get there,” Ma Yuanbai said.
