At this moment, the atmosphere inside the Great Thunderclap Temple on the Western Spirit Mountain was unusually solemn.

Guanyin's face was as pale as paper, and cold sweat poured down her forehead. She staggered to the front of Vairocana Buddha.

With a trembling voice, he recounted in detail to the Great Sun Tathagata the matter of Tang Sanzang's transformation into a villain.

Upon hearing this, the Buddha's face instantly turned extremely gloomy.

He was deeply shocked, after all, he had meticulously planned all the arrangements for the journey to the west, and had considered every detail very carefully.

He originally thought that as long as the five of them followed the plot he had set, they would eventually be able to complete the mission successfully.

However, such a serious thing has happened now, not only has their chosen one in Buddhism, Tang Sanzang, turned evil.

Moreover, the westward-bound team was one person short.

This undoubtedly brought enormous variables and obstacles to the entire westward journey plan.

The Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is a world created by Amitabha Buddha and Cundi Bodhisattva on Mount Sumeru. It is a sacred place of Western Buddhism, filled with peace and tranquility.

When Vairocana Buddha rushed to the Pure Land, Amitabha Buddha and Cundi Bodhisattva shook their heads upon seeing his hurried appearance.

Then he said in a deep voice, "Amitabha, a person of Buddha is neither arrogant nor impatient, and does not act rashly."

"World Honored One, you are attached to appearances!"

The Great Sun Tathagata quickly put his palms together and knelt down, saying, "Greetings to the two leaders!"

Immediately afterward, he hurriedly said, "Two leaders, something terrible has happened!"

When Jieyin and Zhunti saw that Vairocana Buddha was so panicked, they couldn't help but exchange a glance, both feeling somewhat surprised.

Because of their understanding of Vairocana Buddha, they knew that he was always a calm and composed person, and that his loss of composure today must mean that something serious had happened.

Then, the guide asked, "What happened?"

The Great Sun Tathagata took a deep breath, composed himself, and then recounted everything that Guanyin had said to Jieyin and Zhunti in detail.

After hearing this, Jieyin and Zhunti's expressions changed drastically. They never expected that Tang Sanzang would turn evil and fall into the demonic path!

This is truly unexpected.

The two remained silent for a moment, then simultaneously closed their eyes and began to use their magical powers to deduce the reason for Tang Sanzang's corruption.

"As a result, the westward-bound team is now one person short!"

Jieyin responded immediately.

"Yes, that's true."

"The most urgent task now is to find a suitable candidate to fill this vacancy."

However, this is easier said than done.

For a moment, the two fell silent, pondering where to find such a suitable person.

Just then, the Great Sun Tathagata, who was standing to the side, could no longer contain his anxiety. He put his hands together and asked anxiously, "Two leaders, what should we do now? Please give us your guidance."

After a moment of silence, Jieyin and Zhunti decided to close their eyes again and use their saintly power to begin divination.

Time seemed to freeze at that moment, and a tense atmosphere permeated the entire space.

As time passed, Jieyin and Zhunti slowly opened their eyes. Upon seeing this, the Great Sun Tathagata hurriedly called out, "Master!"

Jieyin took a deep breath and said to Mahavairocana, "According to calculations, it seems that this journey to the west will probably be delayed by a hundred years."

Upon hearing this, the Great Sun Tathagata was astonished and exclaimed, "A hundred years?"

Then, a look of doubt appeared on his face, as if he was puzzled by something, and he said, "What if this matter were postponed for a hundred years?"

Even if one eventually attains Mahayana Buddhism and successfully saves all sentient beings.

"It will also inevitably bring extremely serious losses to Buddhism."

Upon hearing his words, Jieyin frowned and pondered for a moment before saying, "After careful calculation, we have found that only a hundred years from now will Buddhism have a suitable candidate to fill the missing person in the westward journey."

"Although doing this will reduce my Buddhist luck and merits, it is better than having no way at all."
