Chapter 9: Noble People Often Forget Things

A servant dared to show off in front of her.

"I should be the one asking this question."

Her tone was chilling.

"Why are you here?"

The smile on Lin Qing's face froze for a moment, but soon returned to normal, and her smile became even sweeter.

He seemed unaware of the sharpness in Gu Miaomiao's words.

She took a step forward, stretched out her hand naturally, and affectionately took Jiang Yanbai's other arm, moving closer to him.

"Of course I came here with Brother Yanbai."

Jiang Yanbai tilted his head slightly, lowered his voice, and leaned close to Lin Qing's ear.

"You stay here first."

His tone was a little softer than when he spoke to Gu Miaomiao, but still distant.

"I want to talk to Mr. Wang."

The smile on Lin Qing's face froze for a moment, and a hint of loss flashed in his eyes.

But she immediately adjusted her expression and nodded obediently.

"Um."

Then, as if she remembered something, she took the initiative to stretch out her delicate hand and carefully adjusted Jiang Yanbai's already meticulously tied bow tie.

"I will wait for Brother Yanbai obediently."

Jiang Yanbai turned around and walked towards a slightly plump man in the banquet hall.

"Then why are you backing off?"

Gu Miaomiao is just a poor girl now, what kind of waves can she make? But those eyes are too creepy.

Lin Qing gritted her teeth, turned around, lifted her skirt, and quickly chased in the direction of Jiang Yanbai.

After she finished speaking, she turned to Wang Jingchi slowly, the smile on her face faded a little, and she added a touch of just the right amount of professionalism.

"Mr. Wang, if I'm not mistaken, you haven't found a satisfactory design for the Angel Wing necklace you brought today, right?"

Wang Jingchi's eyes were filled with even more interest. He looked at Gu Miaomiao, his eyes, which had seen countless people, flashing with inquiry.

His eyes flickered between Jiang Yanbai and Gu Miaomiao.
