Chapter 3 Acting

It is late autumn now. The ginkgo trees in the lake city have turned yellow, and the green belts on both sides of the road are covered with golden fallen leaves, which look like two flying golden dragons, winding through the bustling city.

After two months of being criticized and reprimanded at a private hospital, Qi Xu finally received his internship certificate and successfully graduated. Luckily, he was assigned to a people's hospital in a first-tier city.

"Doctor Qi, how have you been lately? Is it time to fulfill your promise to be my girlfriend?"

After a long internal struggle, Qi Xu finally replied with trembling hands. "How do I fulfill this?"

"I'll pick you up at noon today and have lunch together!"

Qi Xu was a little timid and lied. "No, I have to go to work this afternoon. I'm afraid I don't have much time."

"Then take a leave or switch shifts. I'll pick you up at 12 noon!"

Lin Youqian informed her in an imperative tone, leaving no room for refusal. In fact, he had already asked. Qi Xu was on the morning shift and didn't need to see patients in the afternoon.

At 11:58, Qi Xu's phone rang. It was an unfamiliar number. After answering, two cold words came from the phone.

"Come down!"

"East Gate!"

Qi Xu quickly changed into casual clothes and hurried towards the east gate, fearing that the man would lose his temper if he was even a second late.

Arriving at the East Gate, she began to look around, searching for the boyfriend whose real face she had never seen.

A black commercial vehicle across the street beeped twice, rolled down its window, and waved at her.

"Have you seen enough?"

Qi Xu suddenly retracted his gaze and pretended to play with his fingers to hide his embarrassment.

"My name is Lin Youqian. You don't have to call me Mr. Lin from now on. You can call me Ah You, Ah Qian, or Brother You. It's up to you!"

"We're going to have dinner at my house. You'll meet my family, and you'll need to play the role of my girlfriend. So, don't let anything slip, got it?"

"Ah?" Qi Xu obviously didn't understand.

Her mind has not yet gotten over the choice of whether to call him Aqian, Ayou or Brother You.

After a long time, a soft and weak cat meow was finally heard from the car.

"Honey!"

Lin Youqian's body trembled, and he almost ran a red light.

Qi Xu closed his eyes, treating this as a play, and automatically put himself into the mood of the heroine.

This crisp word "brother" sounded sweet and bright.

Lin Youqian finally got some feeling after listening to her, so he stopped her. "Collect!"
