Similar to the previous book, let the young author first summarize some of the creative ideas behind the book "The Mist".

The reason why the author wrote this book, which is completely different from the previous one, is that before starting the book, Lu Ning read the Cthulhu Mythos and Warhammer 40k. At the same time, the author also really liked her best friend's novel, so she thought of writing a similar one.

However, as a novice author, I underestimated the difficulty of this type of book. The writing was stumbling, the plot was not smooth, and many things were not handled well.

The early part of the novel focused on detective work and mystery solving, and the young author originally intended to continue writing in this style until the end.

As a result, the writing went off track. Starting with the volume on Mist Walker, it unknowingly turned into a lighthearted, wish-fulfillment story like the previous one. Only the main plot remained intact, which is quite embarrassing, haha...

Even if it were written in the detective/mystery genre, given the author's skill level, it's unlikely they could produce a particularly exciting detective/mystery plot. The author doesn't read this type of book often, so they're probably lacking in ideas. Orz

In addition, I started writing the book on a whim, so the beginning was rather mediocre and the plot was quite drawn out.

The final result was pretty average, definitely not as good as the previous one.

As expected, such complex plot-driven novels are not suitable for aspiring authors~ (Ｔ▽Ｔ)

Of course, since the young author quite liked the theme and style, they tried to finish writing it according to their own ideas, which can be considered as giving an explanation to the big names who support the author.

The final result was acceptable to the young author, considering their skill level. Hopefully, they can improve and write even better in the future.

If the young author wants to write this type of story in the future, they must prepare well in the early stages, straighten out the plot, and set the tone for the whole book to avoid the disjointed situation that exists in this book.

Of course, the foreshadowing and plot twists need to be improved, and the plot structure needs to be better. It would be best to read more detective novels.

Writing similar books this way would probably be easier than it is now.

However, for the next book, the author will not write about this theme. This book is a bit tiring to write, and the next book will be a change of pace, something more enjoyable.

My next book will also be an urban martial arts novel, a lighthearted and exciting story about the struggle for supremacy among various races and the fate of the nation.

The young author plans to try writing something funny and witty, not sure if it will work, but he'll give it a try anyway.
