Lu Ning and Song Sinian both drove off-road vehicles.

Upon arriving at the parking lot, Song Sinian smiled at Eileen and asked, "Eileen, shall we go together?"

Eileen crossed her arms and laughed, "I want to go with Sherry."

Shirley smiled and said, "Then let's ride in Captain Lu's car. Captain Lu, is that alright?"

Lu Ning nodded calmly: "Okay."

Song Sinian: "???"

His lips twitched slightly, and he returned to his car with a dejected look on his face.

Sherry and Eileen sat in the back seat while Lu Ning drove.

The two vehicles headed towards the abandoned industrial park in the southern part of the city.

Half an hour later, they arrived at their destination.

As the abandoned industrial park drew closer, the buildings became increasingly dilapidated, the streets grew more deserted, and pedestrians became a rare sight.

Only a small number of ragged homeless people lingered in this area.

As they continued driving, they saw the dilapidated factory in the industrial park. They stopped the car, got out, and entered the industrial park.

The factory buildings are empty; all the usable equipment has been removed, leaving only some abandoned equipment covered in dust and cobwebs.

The group searched several factories but found nothing.

Song Sinian frowned, somewhat displeased, and said, "Is there really any clue in this godforsaken place? It looks like no one has been here for many years."

Shirley glanced at him and said, "It seems like no one has been here for many years, but no one knows the truth. Be careful."

Upon hearing this, Song Sinian said, "How about we split up? That way we can investigate faster. After all, this industrial park is so big. If we investigate together, we might not even finish in a day."

Eileen and Sherry both looked at Lu Ning.

The four then split up and began investigating in the left and right directions.

Lu Ning walked in front, and Song Sinian followed a few steps behind.

Song Sinian looked around, investigating the situation, and then suddenly asked, "Captain Lu, what do you think of Eileen?"

Lu Ning immediately shook his head and said, "I don't date."

Song Sinian was taken aback, somewhat bewildered: "Why?"

Lu Ning said calmly, "I want to go home."

Song Sinian asked, puzzled, "Then let's go back. What does dating have to do with going home?"

Lu Ning glanced at him: "I want to go back more than two thousand years."

Song Sinian: (??_??)?

His brain seemed to be working at lightning speed, trying to understand the meaning of what Lu Ning said.

Just then, Lu Ning suddenly stopped and looked in the direction of one of the factory buildings.

"Found it."

Song Sinian was taken aback: "Found what?"

Lu Ning walked towards a factory building with its doors closed and calmly said, "Signs of disease."

Upon hearing this, Song Sinian immediately became serious and silently followed Lu Ning.

As he walked, he bent down and pulled out two short knives that were tied to his thighs.

These two short swords radiated spiritual energy, clearly indicating that they were both Horcruxes.

Lu Ning walked to the tightly closed iron gate and kicked it hard.

boom!

The iron gate dented and flew directly into the factory building.

Everything inside the factory came into view for the two of them.

However, Song Sinian was soon stunned.

The entire factory contained only some dilapidated-looking machines, and none of the diseased individuals he had imagined.

Just as Song Sinian was wondering, Lu Ning walked straight to one of the huge, dilapidated machines.

The machine is about six or seven meters tall. Although some parts are broken and rusty, it is still very large and weighs several tons.

Lu Ning kicked it out, and the machine was sent flying like a soccer ball, revealing a trapdoor underneath.

Looking at the metal door frame, Song Sinian gasped: "A secret room? Captain Lu, how did you find this?"

Song Sinian said he could not understand it.

Lu Ning calmly replied, "I saw it."

In his line of sight, a thin white mist swirled, and the concentration of the mist in this area was particularly high.

Lu Ning then arrived at the trapdoor and stomped on it.
