Walked in the Fog for Two Thousand Years, I Became the Incarnation of an Evil God

Lu Ning walked in the fog for two thousand years. When he emerged, he found the world seemed to be sick.

The sun grew tentacles, the planets were covered in flesh and blood, the moon grew num...

Chapter 19 They are too weak

"He's injured! Suppressive fire!"

The surrounding guards were overjoyed and immediately opened fire.

Lu Ning dodged the gunfire, his gaze sweeping across the top floor of the villa.

The sniper rifle was fired from here.

However, the sniper was a master; after firing a shot, he immediately went into hiding, and Lu Ning didn't find an opportunity to retaliate.

He then raised both pistols and continued firing.

A single gunshot takes a life.

The guard, shot and lying on the ground, stared wide-eyed, his eyes filled with confusion.

The surviving guards stared wide-eyed.

Someone shouted in a trembling voice, "What happened? Wasn't he just injured?!"

"A monster...a monster!"

The guards turned and ran.

However, he was shot dead as soon as he took a step.

Lu Ning was using his injured left hand. The wound on his arm had long since healed, and his skin was smooth. Only the blood on his clothes showed that he had been injured there.

Just then, without looking up, Lu Ning raised his arm and pulled the trigger towards a balcony on the fourth floor.

Bang!

A muffled thud came from the balcony. The sniper, who had just changed position, had a bloody hole between his eyebrows and looked puzzled.

He couldn't understand how Lu Ning had discovered him.

"Kare is dead!"

A scream came from the guards, and the other guards fired shots at Lu Ning in terror while retreating.

In no time, only a pile of corpses remained where Lu Ning had been.

He glanced at the corpses and found that there were about ten, more than the intelligence report had indicated.

However, Lu Ning did not show any emotional reaction to this.

Even when he fired his first shot at a human, he showed no adverse reaction.

A month has passed since Lu Ning emerged from the fog. His thoughts are much more active than before, but his heart remains numb.

With no one stopping him, he continued running towards the direction of the distant gunfire.

A moment later, Lu Ning turned the corner and saw a group of guards firing at a rockery in the distance.

The bullets landed on the artificial rockery, sending up sparks that shone brightly in the dim light.

Just then, a water shield appeared, and Wang Qiwen peeked out from behind it and fired a series of shots.

Wang Qiwen's shooting skills were not as good as Lu Ning's; he only managed to hit one guard with several shots in a row.

The water shield, having been hit repeatedly, has begun to fluctuate violently.

Upon seeing this, Wang Qiwen quickly retreated back into the artificial hill.

Lu Ning keenly noticed that Wang Qiwen's face was much paler than before.

He raised his hands, gripped the submachine gun he had just picked up from the corpse, and fired a burst of shots.

With each shot, a guard fell.

The sudden turn of events left the guards, who were suppressing the artificial hill with firepower, completely stunned.

They exclaimed in surprise and turned to look at Lu Ning.

"Reinforcements?! Where are the other guards?!"

"Damn it, where did all those guards go?!"

"Get him!"

A tall, muscular black man roared repeatedly, holding a submachine gun and about to fire at Lu Ning.

The next moment, a bloody pit appeared between his eyebrows.

This area is much better than that grassy area with no cover we just saw.

There are many trees and artificial hills nearby.

Using cover, Lu Ning launched counterattacks from time to time. In just a few breaths of exchange, all of the dozen or so guards present fell to the ground.

During the incident, some guards tried to escape, but they were shot dead by Lu Ning after only a few steps.

The air grew quiet as Lu Ning emerged from behind a large tree and headed towards the artificial hill where Wang Qiwen was hiding.

Just then, Wang Qiwen's voice rang out: "Watch out for snipers!"

Lu Ning showed no reaction and continued walking nonchalantly.

Before long, he arrived behind the artificial hill where Wang Qiwen was hiding.

Lu Ning noticed that Wang Qiwen was leaning against a rock with a gunshot wound on his left shoulder, blood flowing from it, and his face was somewhat pale.

Wang Qiwen said angrily, "I told you to be careful of snipers, how could you still be so careless?"

Lu Ning said, "He is already dead."

"Dead?" Wang Qiwen was stunned for a moment, then breathed a sigh of relief.

He cursed and said, "That son of a bitch is too insidious. Luckily, I used my water shield in time to block the bullet, otherwise I might be dead."

Lu Ning glanced at his shoulder and asked, "How were you discovered?"

Wang Qiwen's face was grim, and he cursed angrily, "Damn it, a guard peed in the bushes where I was hiding, and I couldn't hold it in and killed him."

Lu Ning nodded: "Oh."

Wang Qiwen: "...You react like this? It's really not my fault, I never expected to be this unlucky."

"I don't blame you."

Wang Qiwen opened his mouth, his originally pale face turning slightly red with embarrassment and anger.

He dropped the subject and looked at the corpses scattered on the ground not far away, a hint of shock in his eyes: "I didn't expect your shooting skills to be so good. You were killed by these guards in such a short time."

Lu Ning shook his head calmly and said, "They're too weak. They can't even dodge bullets. If we had known they were this weak, we should have just charged in directly."

Wang Qiwen: (O_O)?

He quietly changed the subject: "Let's not talk about that anymore. It seems like all the guards on the outer perimeter are dead. Shall we go in? I wonder how those two are doing."

Lu Ning glanced at Wang Qiwen's wound: "Are you alright? Why don't you wait outside?"

Wang Qiwen immediately retorted, "Don't underestimate me! What's this little injury? I used a water shield just now, and I didn't break any bones!"

Seeing that Wang Qiwen insisted on going together, Lu Ning nodded: "Okay."

He led the way, and Wang Qiwen stood up, holding a pistol in one hand, and followed behind Lu Ning, watching the surroundings warily, especially the villa upstairs, for fear that a sniper might jump out.
