The 7th Armored Division marched north from Haiphong and successively captured Ha Long, Tien An, and Binh Lieu in Quang Ninh Province, opening up the highway line with China.

The 12th Reserve Mountain Division captured Cao Bang Province.

June 28, 1941.

The 11th Mechanized Infantry Division was preparing to capture Taiyuan Province.

June 29, 1941.

The 3rd Infantry Division captured Henan Province.

June 30, 1941.

The 4th Infantry Division captured Nam Dinh province.

July 1, 1941.

The 1st Guards Division captured Nghe An Province and was withdrawn by the Army Command. The mission to advance south was handed over to the 2nd Infantry Division, the 5th Infantry Division, the 6th Artillery Division, the 9th Reserve Armored Division, and the 10th Reserve Mechanized Infantry Division. Liu Qingshan, the commander of the 2nd Infantry Division, was appointed as the commander of the Southern Corps.

July 3, 1941.

The Southern National Liberation Front captured Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa and Ta Nong provinces.

By noon on July 6, the entire southern part of Quang Nam province had fallen into the hands of the Southern National Liberation Front.

July 7, 1941.

The Southern Corps captured Ha Tinh and Quang Binh provinces.

July 9, 1941.

The Southern Corps captured Quang Tri Province.

July 12, 1941.

With the fall of Quang Nam province, the entire central and northern regions of Vietnam were incorporated into the territory of the National League for Democracy (NLD) army. The Southern Corps temporarily deployed and rested in Da Nang, Tam Ky, Tien Ky, and Ba Duc in Quang Nam province.

July 15, 1941.

Outside Laizhou City.

At the foot of the monument to heroes, the coffins of more than two thousand Chinese soldiers are neatly arranged, their epitaphs already erected, and the military flags fluttering in the wind demonstrate the indomitable spirit of the Chinese people.

"Fire a gun!"

At a command, the National League soldiers on both sides raised their guns and fired three shots into the sky.

"Bang--!"

"Bang--!!"

This is the final farewell ceremony. After all the heroes' bodies are transported to the crematorium for incineration, they will be packed and sealed, and then sent back to China.

After the ceremony, everyone observed five minutes of silence.
