Chapter 10: A Great Start

Mrs. Geng looked at Si Jinchen. She had met this young master of the Si family once before. He looked unwell and sickly.

But when I saw her today, she was different. Her face was rosy and she was in very good spirits.

The driver went to buy two strings of candied haws and handed them to the two men.

Juanjuan looked at the candied haws in her hand, stretched out her tongue and licked it, her eyes lighting up: "So sweet."
