Chapter 179 A Piece of Advice

"Hello, Lord Zhao Gang of Land Thirteen, I am Steven."

Steven smiled. He was wearing a casual gray-blue suit, and his deep, handsome face and neatly trimmed beard made him look like a gentlemanly Western aristocrat.

He bent down slightly and greeted the little girl carrying the flower basket with a friendly smile: "Hello, little beauty! Did you grow these flowers yourself? They are so beautiful."

Zhao Xiaoxiu looked up and smiled, "Thank you for the compliment, Uncle."

The child was curious about his green eyes and couldn't help but look at them a few more times. Steven was displeased, but he forced a smile to appear as a kind and friendly person.

If it were other children, they might have been deceived by the seemingly respectable appearance of others.

But Zhao Xiaoxiu found his two-faced smile creepy, so she glanced at him a few times and then looked away.

Zhao Gang looked at the three people in front of his territory. To him, it didn't matter who Steven was; all three of them were the same—people who had destroyed his territory.

Ordinary people might not find this kind of impartial gaze strange.

But Steven, who has always enjoyed being unique, couldn't quite stand it.

He coughed twice to draw Zhao Gang's attention back, and then solemnly introduced himself again.

"My name is Steven, a doctor from Green Field Alliance. I'm very sorry about what happened last night, but it was just a small misunderstanding. I believe you can understand, Mr. Zhao, right?"

Zhao Gang shook his head: "Not really."

He crouched down to examine the wild grass that had been burned by poison the night before. This mutated wild grass, which had been so resilient, was now devoid of any life.

The land beneath it, about the size of two hands, also became useless and harmful soil.

The father and daughter shook their heads regretfully. Zhao Xiaoxiu picked up a small shovel from the basket and handed it to her father. Zhao Gang took it, shoveled up the toxic soil, and put it into an unused mutated loofah membrane bag.

"This might end up in the eastern garbage dump, but it just so happens we're heading to the eastern territory."

Zhao Gang called to his daughter, "Xiaoxiu, let's go."

"Will you walk there?" Zhao Xiaoxiu asked in surprise.

Zhao Gang smiled in annoyance, forgetting that the cub's short legs meant it couldn't run fast.

The father and daughter planned to exchange flowers for two chicks for Grandma Meng to raise. Before leaving, Grandma Meng specifically instructed that she had already made arrangements with Wenfei from plot number 15, and that she wanted the two fattest chicks.

Wenfei wanted a few fresh flowers from the flower wall, perhaps to enjoy them and improve her mood, or perhaps to try growing her own A-grade mutated flower wall.

Regarding this, Zhao Xiaoxiu felt she would have to tell her later that the cut flower branches could only be appreciated as fresh flowers, and they would live at most ten days or half a month longer than ordinary mutated flowers.

Zhao Xiaoxiu stood at the entrance waiting, while Zhao Gang went to push the bicycle out.

When the bicycle arrived, Zhao Xiaoxiu climbed onto her designated seat on the crossbar and placed the flower basket in the bicycle basket.

Zhao Gang stepped on the pedal, and the bicycle shot off with a "whoosh," and the father and daughter were gone just like that...?!

"Steven!" his subordinate quickly reminded him.

Steven was startled awake by the shout, gritting his teeth: "Damn it! How dare they ignore me!"

Another subordinate glanced at the shoulder-high green wall in front of him, with sparse gaps between the branches, and an idea struck him. He excitedly suggested, "Why don't we just go in? By the time the lord returns, we'll have already caught him."

Steven was genuinely tempted, but when he looked up at the locator on his wrist, the red dot indicating the location was moving eastward.

Then, in a flash, it disappeared completely.

At the same time, the small locator that Zhao Xiaoxiu threw out drew a beautiful arc in the air and hit the stone with a "thud," shattering into pieces.

This was taken from the metal buckle on the shoe strap of the green-haired man. The poor guy was shocked and suddenly realized what had happened, exclaiming excitedly, "They actually installed a GPS tracker on me!"

He wondered why Steven had been chasing them so closely and arriving so quickly; it turned out he had already installed tracking devices on them.

"Catch up with them!" Steven ordered angrily.

The two henchmen looked at each other, then took off running, but after a couple of steps they turned back, saying helplessly:

"We don't have a car, and we're not speed-evolved beings, how are we supposed to catch up?"

Steven took a deep breath to avoid getting so angry that he died, and quickly picked up his communicator to call for help to chase after them.

Mo Shigui frowned in the car and reminded them, "Please follow the rules, your people are not allowed to come in!"

"If we can't get in, we'll go around to the garbage dump on the east side, quick!!!"

Steven practically yelled that last word.

The destruction of the tracker indicates that the father and daughter have already met the thief, Xiwa.

Now they're suddenly heading east towards the garbage mountain, which likely means they already know where the goods are hidden.

Steven had no doubt that the cowardly Xiwa sold the hideout to Zhao Gang in order to save his own life.

Therefore, he strongly suspected that the father and daughter were now on their way to find that shipment!

Steven was extremely anxious. He hung up the communicator, immediately told his two men to get into the car, and urged Mo Shigui: "Please catch up with Zhao Gang and his daughter immediately!"

"Why should I listen to you?" Mo Shigui scoffed.

Steven laughed angrily, "Don't force me to use any means against you."

Mo Shigui gave a silent "heh," started the truck, and chased after Zhao Xiaoxiu and her father.

The car was fast, and it caught up with the father and daughter in no time.

"Huh? Uncle Mo!" Zhao Xiaoxiu looked at the truck that had caught up with them in surprise, and didn't forget to wave and greet Mo Shigui.

Mo Shigui smiled gently at the little girl, then shrugged helplessly, indicating that he had no choice but to bring Steven, this madman, along.
