Wasteland Farming: A Handbook for Raising Human Cubs

Transmigrating into a post-apocalyptic world with mutated creatures, Zhao Xiaoxiu thought she was already unlucky enough.

She never expected that after waking up, her unreliable father would ...

Chapter 33 Mental Pollution

His companion, unaware of his shock, burst into mocking laughter as he watched an adult being stunned by a child.

Enraged, the green-haired man immediately roared fiercely at the father and daughter:

"Leave everything on your person and get out!"

"Don't spare them, kill them..."

Before he could finish saying "I'll kill you all," Zhao Gang interrupted him.

"Which one does Xiaoxiu like?" Zhao Gang asked his cub, looking down at his head.

This is practically a vehicle delivered right to our doorstep! The cub is sure to be thrilled.

Zhao Gang nodded to his daughter, indicating that she could choose whichever she picked.

Zhao Xiaoxiu glanced at the more than one hundred people in front of her, then at her confident father. Was he really that good or bad?

Zhao Gang patted his chest and said, "It's true!"

Zhao Xiaoxiu burst into laughter, completely ignoring the colorful motley crew surrounding her, and stretched out her index finger to count them off.

"That one!" Zhao Xiaoxiu's eyes lit up as she selected a mobility scooter for the elderly.

Zhao Gang gave an "OK" sign and led his daughter over.

The green-haired man yelled, "Can't you two understand human language? I told you to put your things down and get out of here!"

Feeling provoked, the other accomplices jumped out of the car and formed a human wall to surround the father and daughter.

One of the white-haired men, who was leading the group, saw that Zhao Gang didn't even glance at him but stared straight at his old man's mobility scooter. His temper flared up instantly, and he pulled out a shotgun from his back and pointed it at Zhao Gang's forehead.

"stop!"

A murderous aura filled the air, and the group of people who had been laughing and joking just moments before all turned pale.

Seeing that their leader was angry, the green-haired man quickly shouted at the father and daughter, "Don't be so stubborn! Put down your things and get out of here!"

They generally don't kill, but only if the other party is sensible.

Zhao Xiaoxiu nervously tugged at Zhao Gang's pants. Zhao Gang raised his hand, patted the top of her head, and looked up into the white-haired man's eyes: "Get out of the way."

The tone was very flat, as if it were just something said casually.

Zhao Xiaoxiu thought to herself, "Let's not pretend now... Huh? We're just going to obediently move aside like this?"

Zhao Gang led his young child straight toward the old man's car. The people who had been surrounding them all seemed to be controlled, stepping aside and standing there motionless.

The green-haired man rubbed his eyes hard, looked again, but his companions were still motionless.

He exclaimed in alarm, "Hey!" and the tall man holding his daughter's hand turned around to look at him.

The green-haired man glanced at him instinctively, then froze on the spot.

Everyone saw Him; they seemed to be witnessing some strange sight, deeply engrossed in it, or perhaps simply lost in a daze.

Zhao Gang kicked the people off the bus, threw away their luggage, and put his own bag and the baby's small bag on the back seat.

Then she picked up her baby, placed him in the passenger seat, fastened his seatbelt, and closed the car door.

He then walked around the car in front and got into the driver's seat.

Just like the original Zhao Gang, he skillfully started the old man's car, gently pressed the accelerator, and started smoothly.

The scenery flashed past the car window, and Zhao Gang, not hearing the expected happy laughter, curiously turned his head to look at the passenger seat.

He saw his own cub looking in the rearview mirror, still watching the group of green-haired people who were standing there motionless.

His big eyes were filled with surprise, and a little bit of admiration and longing.

"That's amazing!" Zhao Xiaoxiu looked at her living father with envy.

Zhao Gang grinned; this was nothing at all.

But being looked at with such admiration by the cubs must mean you're pretty impressive, huh?

The white electric car carrying the father and daughter drove onto the highway and quickly disappeared among the verdant mountains.

The more than one hundred people who had been standing still suddenly came to their senses, looked at each other, and were puzzled.

Their subconscious tells them what they just saw, but they can't remember it no matter what they do.

If you dwell on it too much, an inexplicable fear will instantly spread throughout your body, causing headaches, blurred vision, and your mouth to open and close repeatedly, wanting to say something but unable to.

Pain and a feeling of suffocation permeated the group, and their brains tried to block out these thoughts.

Suddenly, everyone's mind went blank, and they regained consciousness. The pain disappeared, and their breathing became smooth.

Someone spotted the departing white electric scooter and yelled, "Damn it! That father and daughter stole our car!"

The people whose cars were stolen hurriedly checked their belongings and found that all their luggage was on the ground, but the food and water inside were still there.

The eldest brother, the man in the white horse, asked in surprise, "You didn't take anything except the car, why?"

Green Hair replied, "Because she is kind."

Everyone: "......"

Green Hair repeated: "Because she is kind."

He said this with a very serious expression.

"Boss, let's avoid this father and daughter next time we see them," Green Hair pleaded.

The white-haired man glanced at him speechlessly, then slapped him on the back of the head. "Are you sick in the head?!"

Turning his head, he arranged for the few people without cars to squeeze in with others, and the group started their motorcycles, slammed on the brakes, and accelerated hard, speeding off with a "whoosh!"

Green Hair got on his companion's motorcycle. Whether he was stunned or truly stupid, his body trembled and his eyes were unpredictable.

Has he been corrupted by his mind?

Why has the world around us become so strange?

His companion in front of him became translucent, and he could see his beating heart, every vein inside clearly visible, magnifying before his eyes...

"Little one, are you alright?"

Awakened by his companion's voice, Green Hair looked up and realized that the motorcycle had stopped at some point, and he was lying on the ground.
