Wearing the Book, The Villain Cub Needs Feeding

Su Jiaoniang transmigrated into a book, becoming the mother of the big villain from an ancient melodrama—a paranoid, ruthless, and sadistic man.

In the book, the big villain is a notoriously ...

Chapter 7 Your mother ran away with someone

Lu Futu was taken aback and stared at the little bald head.

The bald man slowly turned his head, and when he saw Lu Futu, fear flashed in his eyes. He rubbed his eyes, and when he looked at Lu Futu again, the child's eyes lit up with a smile.

Lu Futu originally did not want to take care of the child.

He only wanted to take care of himself and his family.

However, if he doesn't take care of him, his mother will have to worry, and his mother is such a hardworking person.

Lu Futu nodded to Su Jiaoniang: "I will take good care of my younger brother."

He took the bowl from Su Jiaoniang's hand, held it steadily, and spooned it into the bald man's mouth.

Five-year-olds are at the age when they are really playful and will spill soup all over the floor when they are not careful while eating. But Lu Futu is different. He can take his medicine by himself, dress himself, and take care of others.

Su Jiaoniang glanced at him a few times and smiled, saying, "Take good care of your little brother and complete the mission. Mother will cook you eggs tomorrow."

Lu Futu pursed his lips. Who likes to eat eggs?

With that thought in mind, I didn't pour the soup from the bowl onto the ground.

He spooned it into the bald man's mouth, one spoonful at a time.

The little bald boy looked to be six or seven years old, a bit older than Lu Futu, and also taller.

When only the two of them remained in the room, Lu Futu glanced at the empty bowl and had only one assessment of the bald boy in front of him—dangerous.

How many people can drink their medicine in one go like him, without feeling any bitterness or discomfort?

With a blank, expressionless face, she coldly said, "Once you're better, leave my house. My family is poor and can't afford to support you."

The bald man paused, his nose twitched, and his large, red, moist eyes seemed to be filled with tears. He didn't speak; it was so dangerous outside, he would die if he left. He lay silently on the bed and closed his eyes. He was just a little bald man.

Lu Futu's eyes darkened when he saw what the little bald man was doing.

Staring at the bald man's neck, throat...

The sweltering June weather suddenly turned cold.

Lu Xiaoya skipped and hopped into the house, took Lu Futu's hand, and asked in a chattering voice, "Brother, do I look good? Xiaoya is wearing new clothes."

Not only were she wearing new clothes, but her hair was also tied up with a brand new hair tie.

But a skinny person with dry, yellow hair and a sallow, yellowish face has no beauty whatsoever.

The coldness in Lu Futu's eyes faded, and he said stiffly, "Beautiful!"

Lu Xiaoya frowned, not entirely satisfied with the answer. Her gaze fell on the bald little monk, and after turning him around, she tugged at her little braid and asked, "Big brother, is Xiaoya pretty?"

The bald man nodded emphatically. Good job!

The moment she walked in, she seemed to be bathed in a halo of light. Once inside, the room felt less cold and indifferent; this little sister was so pretty and adorable.

"Xiao Ya is the prettiest." After staring at Lu Xiao Ya's hair for a while, he reached out and touched his bald head. The little bald man felt a little sad. Of the four of them, he was the ugliest.

The little girl glanced at the bald boy's head, her mouth agape, her eyes flashing with amazement. The bald boy's hair had been sold, but he was still so handsome.

After stammering for a moment, she suddenly asked, "My name is Xiaoya, what's yours?"

The bald man paused for a moment, his gaze falling on Lu Futu.

The little girl chattered on and on, saying, "My brother's name is TuTu."

"My name is Gu Changsheng," Gu Sheng said, his voice hesitant.

His nickname was Changsheng, and his formal name was Gusheng. He was from the State of Qi.

“We’re friends now that we’ve exchanged names. You should go to sleep now. Once you’re feeling better, I’ll take you to dig for cicada nymphs. They’re so delicious. But you can’t eat them now because you’re sick.” After saying this, the little girl sniffled and suddenly looked outside.

Su Jiaoniang walked in carrying a bowl of cold noodles.

Besides the cold noodles, there were two bowls of porridge on the tray. The porridge was for the wounded soldiers, and Lu Futu and Gu Changsheng ate it.

Su Jiaoniang and Lu Xiaoya ate cold noodles with chili oil.

The fragrant cold noodles are topped with sesame paste and chili oil, and the freshly crushed garlic cloves have a wonderful aroma. On a hot summer day, the smell alone makes you want to eat it.

Lu Futu glanced at it, then lowered his head and started drinking the porridge. The porridge contained thin strips of meat, and it tasted very good.

Gu Changsheng swallowed hard; his wounds were too severe, and he had to wait to be fed.

Listening to the people in the room eating, his stomach started to rumble. He didn't want to eat porridge, but he also wanted to eat this strange-looking thing. He swallowed hard and watched the family eat with longing.

Su Jiaoniang put down her bowl and prepared to feed the little bald boy the porridge.

Lu Futu, who had finished his meat porridge, snatched the bowl from Su Jiaoniang's hand: "Mother, let me do it!"

"Great job!" Su Jiaoniang smiled and handed over the bowl in her hand. Watching the children help and love each other and care for the sick and young, her eyes were filled with joy. No matter what the reason was for the children feeding the little bald boy, as long as they did the right thing, that was fine.

Behaviors are all based on inertia.

Looking at the remaining wood in the yard, Su Jiaoniang thought about repairing her gate and walls. Since she wanted to live there for a long time, she couldn't do without a gate.

They went out into the yard, moved the wood to the shade of a tree, borrowed some tools from the village chief's house, and started hammering away.

To build a sturdy fence, straight tree trunks were needed, but the ones at home weren't enough, so Su Jiaoniang walked back down the mountain.

Cutting down useful branches, back and forth, before dark they finally built a simple fenced yard. When they have money in the future, they can replace the fence with a tall brick fence.

The next morning, Su Jiaoniang carried her basket and headed to the county town.

Dew clung to the blades of grass in the early morning, and the stars twinkled. Su Jiaoniang experienced the feeling of being forced to work from dawn till dusk due to the pressures of life.

A cool breeze carried the scent of bees dancing in the air. Su Jiaoniang looked up and saw a beehive hanging on a tree, with bees buzzing around – how industrious!
