Said watched helplessly as Gu Li and Edward swept the table clean in a flash, all within a dozen minutes.

Gu Li's last chopsticks collided with Edward's fork, making a sudden buzzing sound on the table, and the two remained locked in a stalemate.

Edward felt an unexpected surge of force, and a look of surprise flashed in his eyes.

He then stopped, watching with lingering reluctance as the last piece of meat disappeared into Gu Li's mouth. He stood up, said "Thank you for the treat," and disappeared out the door.

Saide, who had been merely a background figure the entire time, was dumbfounded. He and Alfoseni exchanged a glance: "Did he really just come here to freeload?"

Gu Li glanced at him: "The military personnel won't be coming anymore. This is Dean Victor's order."

Alfoseny's expression suddenly changed, and he shook the person in his arms who was gradually regaining consciousness: "What about him?"

Gu Li pointed out the window: "Since he wants to hear it so much, let him hear it to his heart's content."

Saide wiped his face: ...I don't really understand you riddle people.

A moment later, amidst the sounds of struggling outside the window, Gu Li looked at Gu Yuanqing again: "Hmm, how about you come find me after you get the antidote? I should be happy to make a deal with you then."

Gu Yuanqing nodded without changing his expression: "Deal, give me a little more time."

Gu Yuanqing went back to find the antidote, while the troops stationed in District Seven had already begun to move their people inward.

Gu Li and a few others formed a small team and set off to escort the people to safety.

There were so many people involved in this relocation that the line inevitably stretched into an endless queue.

This was her fourth day in District 7. Miraculously, there were no clouds in the sky, and the giant screen playing continuously could be seen from below the tall buildings.

Gu Li sat on the roof of the car, holding a lollipop in her hand, looking up at the sky, lost in thought.
