Chapter 132 The Plagiarist

Gu Li drew her longsword, the hilt covered in various kinds of viscous blood, making it almost impossible for her to hold on. She leaned her weight against the cross for a brief rest.

Her sky-blue eyes looked up at the sky, where the enormous warship, which almost blotted out the sun, gradually came into view.

Burning sensation inside the stomach.

Every part of her body was protesting; deep, bone-chilling pain would suddenly surface, serving as a reminder not to be so active.

Amidst the hesitant expressions of the others, she reached up and wiped the blood from under her nose.

"But I haven't done enough."

She was too insignificant in the face of war.

On the massive warship, Henry Witt's figure gradually emerged, his posture deliberately reserved and elegant, with a pair of curved, jet-black ram's horns gradually protruding from between his curly black hair.

He looked down at the chestnuts on the ground and said disdainfully, "Come on, my darling, you are the first decent opponent I have encountered in this ignorant country."

The man curled his lips slightly: "If you defeat me, I'll let these fools pass, how about that?"

Gu Li looked at the curly-haired man above her, whose arrogance was practically written all over his face, and felt exhausted. She had never thought of Eric and the others this way before.

She exchanged a glance with Victor, whose face was scarred, and in that instant he understood her decision. Victor frowned in disapproval.

Gu Li spoke up before he could: "Dean, I'm going to have a one-on-one match with this man who dared to plagiarize Eric's image, you know that, right?"

"This is the best decision."

Victor couldn't see any resemblance between the affected man above and the elegant and reserved Eric.

After a brief moment of consideration, he agreed to Gu Li's request.

His words were as concise as ever: "Edward left with his men, I stayed behind."

To conserve his energy, Gu Li stopped talking and simply nodded upon hearing this.

The number of black knights surrounding them stopped increasing, and the convoy began to move outwards. As the last car passed, two figures jumped out from it.

Said and Alfoseni met Viktor's stern eyes and stepped forward without flinching: "We stand with our commander!"

Alfoseni looked at Gu Li: "We will take care of ourselves. You... must be careful. Also... Mr. Eric has not received your reply and sent us a message."

He'll be there in half an hour.

Gu Li took the nutrient solution from Saide and smiled as she said, "This is the best news I've heard all day."

She drank all the nutritional supplements that the others had brought with them, and without asking any questions, Victor threw the spare nutritional supplements he had on him to Gu Li.

Gu Li took a breath and nodded at him.

"I'm in."

Victor pointed to the small aircraft next to him: "I'll take you there."

Gu Li looked at the powerful figure standing on the warship above, and with a thought, the combat suit on his back made a tearing sound, and a pair of bone wings covered with silver scales suddenly opened.

She flapped her wings and flew up from the ground, her sky-blue eyes looking at the astonished group of people. She shook the wings behind her and said, "I've already said I'm the queen, so of course I can't just be human."

A smug smile appeared on Gu Li's face: "How about it? Scared?"

Saide and Alfoseni stared blankly at the pair of wings that unfurled behind Gu Li, shimmering with tiny, shimmering light in the daylight.

Saide snapped out of his reverie and muttered to himself, "If... everything there looks like this, it's not unacceptable."

Alfonsini glanced at him: "In fact, this is the most entertaining thing I've ever seen..."

A woman jumped out from behind them, her voice low but unable to contain her excitement. She was manipulating a camera, following Gu Li from a distance.

"This is simply a work of art!"

The live stream was interrupted during the attack, and now that it's back on, it's showing this thrilling scene. The people rushing in are stunned by the shimmering bone wings on the screen.

[Is this the true form of our king?]

[I guess not, it's just that a pair of wings are showing.]

[Regardless of what the fully evolved form looks like, these wings are simply divine in my eyes!]

[You haven't shown your wings when you've been flying or diving before, is something on your mind?]

[I also want to say, we've become so close, do you still treat me like an outsider?]

[Seriously, showing it off before might have been met with resistance...maybe...]

Inside the spaceship, which was moving at full speed, Eric watched the figures in the live stream, ignoring the constantly ringing group chat.

From the moment they saw Henry Witte's provocation, their faces darkened, but finally softened into a gentle expression. This was their king.

That was a child with a soft and sincere heart.

She ultimately chose to place her trust in others, rather than opting for a more cautious approach of gradually gaining acceptance after establishing a firm foothold.

Eric looked at the driver he had casually brought to set sail, and his tone returned to its usual calm: "How much longer until we reach District Seven?"

The driver, who was passing by the innocent man being conscripted, stood stiffly, swallowed hard, and couldn't forget the terrifying aura and gloomy face the man had given him not long ago.

He said cautiously, "This is already the fastest we can go. We should arrive at the battlefield in about twenty minutes."

Eric smiled slightly and nodded casually: "Thank you for your hard work."

He stroked the silver cane in his hand, his pupils, which were looking out the window, subtly shifted in shape, and a restless aura, inconsistent with his peaceful demeanor, surged around him.
