Gu Li was unaware that the rapidly scrolling comments in the live stream were becoming increasingly skewed. She spun in mid-air to dodge the oncoming alien creature, her fingers brushing against the pendant at her waist, and a long sword flashed through the air at an imperceptible speed.

She paused briefly as Levi swung his tentacles, then used the momentum to leap up again, piercing through all the monsters that tried to get close to He Shiyi.

The eastern part of the city was mostly deserted. Even if everyone gathered here, there would only be less than five hundred people, but that would be more than the prey they brought.

The number has reached nearly a thousand.

The three of them fought almost non-stop for half an hour to clear the scene for He Shiyi before the square was completely cleared.

He Shiyi had already hacked countless cracks into the statue.

Under the watchful eyes of Gu Li and the others, the cracks on the statue's head and lower limbs increased, but the torso, which was attacked the most, remained strangely intact.

Cecil followed up by flinging Levi away with a branch, saying resentfully, "I'll let you show off this time, but remember to find someone else next time!"

The moment Levi leaped from the branch, his body twisted for a split second, his arms became soft and slender, and he transformed into a higher-level form.

He was a recognized master swordsman; even He Shiyi might not be as skilled as him in swordsmanship alone. In his relatively short life, he lived in the advanced form for longer than in the human form.

In this state, his swordsmanship is at its strongest.

He Shiyi's tall figure moved swiftly across the giant statue, dodging the wildly waving arms while constantly severing the worms that tried to bite him.

Gu Li and Levi rushed towards the location where the statue's head had been severed from two directions simultaneously.

Gu Li stared silently in the direction of the severed head. The sounds inside grew louder and louder, and a sense of crisis suddenly arose in her heart.

We absolutely cannot let that thing crawl out!

The first to arrive was He Shiyi. His body had been tempered for decades, and its strength was almost indistinguishable from that of a familiar-level mutant. The black longsword in his hand pierced through the neck of the statue from top to bottom.

Levi was the second to arrive. Gu Li didn't even see the speed at which he drew his sword. His exquisite swordsmanship was completely opposite to his large and clumsy body.

In just a few seconds, dozens of wounds appeared on that neck, and bright red blood kept flowing out, while the neck swelled and struggled strangely.
