The sea, which had been constantly churning up huge waves, suddenly calmed down. Every move of that enormous deep-sea creature brought irreparable pollution to everyone, yet no one was willing to look away.

A giant octopus, its head resembling a water-filled balloon on the verge of exploding, charged forward first. Its two remaining tentacles, like human arms, wielded two swords to continuously block the attacks of the Deep Sea Kin.

Lancer was stopped by Lan Meng. He looked up at Lan Meng's back and his irritable voice became unusually calm: "To be honest, with Levi's swordsmanship, he once captivated countless young men and women, but now he can only use it here."

Lan Meng scoffed: "You're just being sentimental. He doesn't have to shoulder the many responsibilities that were placed on him here. Cen Xingbang and Eric are there to take care of things for him."

The sharp rapier struck the same spot again, the two clashed in mid-air, and a second later, amidst a scream that almost pierced eardrums, the Goat Hoof Man was sent flying backward, crashing headfirst into a building on the shore, his fate unknown.

Meanwhile, the giant white worm, known as the Kin of the Deep Sea, roared wildly as it attacked Levi, who was still resting on the shallows, with countless dark shadows emerging from the dark sea behind it.

Lan Meng, carrying Lucy, rushed toward Levi, who was unable to move in the sea. Countless tentacles with a bluish-green color and silver threads shot out, and Lan Meng barely managed to block the attacks of his familiars at the cost of his own life.

The latter tightly bound Levi's body and retreated hastily.

From within the collapsed house, countless tiny climbing sounds echoed, as numerous withered, thin branches carried Eric, who had lost his mobility and whose limbs had strangely swelled, out.

Angor, who was searching through the ruins, suddenly saw a glimmer of hope: "Cecil!"

It was rare for Lan Meng to see Cecil without his sarcastic tone, so he silently stepped forward and led the person out.

The pitch-black alien creature, countless times smaller than its original form, unfurled its pitch-black wings from the body of the Deep Sea Kin, and countless tentacles covered in viscous liquid waved and wrapped around its body.

A slender figure sat atop the black alien head, slowly raising its head to look at the crowd.
