The evacuation went surprisingly smoothly. Everyone stood in the ruins of the C02 base, listening to the occasional tremors coming from below, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Some suggested leaving temporarily and then asking others to come back for help.

The person was hidden in the crowd and disappeared immediately. Most people were successfully distracted by the words and turned their attention to the front.

Their district chief and superiors were standing on the edge of the huge crater.

Chen Guo didn't need anyone to announce his arrival; he had already heard the sounds behind him. He closed his eyes, put his hands behind his back, and listened intently to the commotion below, constantly picturing the scene of the child's battle in his mind.

"We should be here to meet her! Only a cowardly fool would be so terrified that he can only think about being scared!"

After Julie finished speaking, she looked around hopefully, but was ultimately disappointed to find that she did not get the feedback she had imagined.

Those pairs of eyes, filled with fear, exhaustion, evasiveness, and even collapse, made her suddenly realize that these people were truly terrified.

Now, facing the monsters that might appear below, he couldn't even muster the slightest thought of resistance.
